Eros gave Lelei a curious look in return for that serious expression he was showing him. Brows slightly wrinkled above his nose, and the young man let out a laugh, soft and awkward.

He felt so flattered about what Lelei was saying. He had doubts he misunderstood, but what he get was that Lelei was suggesting about an escorts and he'd even do it himself if possible.

Either Mr. Lelei was too kind and selfless and that it almost sounded surreal, or he wasn't being serious. Eros could see it on the shark man's face though, he didn't seem like he was fooling around.

"Oh. Mr. Lelei, I appreciate that, really, but... there's no need to worry about me," he said, shifting in his seat. He was trying to find a more comfortable posture. "It's not like I'm pushing you away, but such a thing sounds like it can take too much of a person's time. I don't want to inconvenience people, or you, I already caused enough trouble for you today. I'll just look for a spell caster when I get back, maybe later."

If Eros were to be honest, he would actually feel relieved if such a thing was possible. He'd love it if it became possible for him to stop worrying about stalkers and creepy people trying to pin him on a wall or on the floor.

But he wasn't being honest.

Moreover, he didn't even know what Lelei does yet. He only knew that he has a role in the academy somehow. The guy could be a really busy person, and he would be a very tough and irritating inconvenience.

"What do you do exactly, by the way, Mr. Lelei?" he asked gently.

"Well, still, the offer will remain standing."

For all of his concern, there was not much that Lelei could do for Eros without Eros agreeing to it. Lelei was not the kind of person to insist upon something as long as the person was being reasonable and courteous about it, and Eros was definitely doing that. Now if the other party was being bratty and unpleasant? Yes, Lelei would bring out his old soldier persona. Those were fun in their own right, at that right times.

"Me? Oh, I'm the head of campus security at the Academy. My team and I make sure everyone is safe while on school grounds. If trouble shows itself, we're there to handle it."

After several high profile incidents on campus, the Academy had opted to increase security presence. Of course, the Academy was not about to turn the campus into some kind of police state with cameras and an army of officers. So they chose instead to go with quality over quantity, and hired security officers that could handle the unique environment of the Academy. Knowing that, having a giant shark man as the head of it seemed reasonable.

"That's my official job anyway. I also do contract work for the Manta Carlos police department. They call me in whenever they have an un-ordinary problem or suspect that needs to be handled."

Eros' brows shot up with interest after this revelation. So Lelei was head for security. He mouthed a silent 'Oh', slowly nodding. "I see." That line of work must be really tough. The two people he's met in this island who were immune to him were in the same field of work, he can't help but notice that.

"I bet it's difficult. Having to deal with all kinds of people with all kinds of abilities can be dangerous, What a fine job, though." He smiled. "You're like that other detective I met. But he was grumpy as fuck."

It wasn't that funny a memory to recall, but Eros laughed for a brief moment. But then he cleared his throat afterwards and shook his head. "Uh... I'm not taking too much of your time, am I?"
