Yuki glanced over the menu, and decided to get her usual. She came to the Gilded obsidian at least once a week, and got the same thing every time. The staff recognized her at least. The golem glanced her way and she shook her head.

"He'll have the special sirloin, sir, and i'll have my usual." She addressed the golem-waiter, before turning back to Lei. "You'll thank me, the $10 steak isn't very good." She glanced back to the waiter quickly.

"No offense Kz'rt."

The golem nodded before it tromped off.

"None taken Miss Mako. It will be out shortly. Please enjoy your meal."

Yuki obviously knew the waiter, had she been here before? She had a usual...What was going on?

"The special is really good, it's a smoked sirloin with this special rub on it made of spices from the Roman Empire..." She smiled, making conversation.

Lei's eyes widened when Yuki changed his order. He just — He can't even —

He couldn't afford that. He looked at the menu again. Yup, he totally couldn't afford that. He was screwed. Like, sex screwed. By gross old men with too much money. Get it, because he'd have to sell his damn body TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD THIS!?

"What are you doing?" Lei whispered to Yuki, sharply, hoping not to cause too much of a scene despite flailing way too much. "Dude, I know you mean well and I totally would kill to taste a steak like that, but we can't afford this shit and now the orders are placed and we need a goddamn wrench because both of us are royally screwed. Epically screwed. Both of just lost our virginities simultaneously, that's how screwed we are."

He grabbed Yuki by the shoulders. "Here's the game plan. When we're done, you go to the bathroom and escape through the window, and I'll be like, oh my god, I left my wallet in the car, hold on guys. We escape through an alleyway, take the next boat going anywhere, and live the rest of our days as fishermen in a tropical country while lamenting about how the smoked sirloin ruined both of our lives forever and ever."

Yuki just shook her head, holding Lei's wrist. He certainly did have a pretty active imagination.

"Don't worry about a thing Lei...I think i have a better plan."

The sharkgirl waved a waiter over, the golem trudging over. She gestured it in, whispering into where it's ears would be. The golem stood again.

"As you wish, Miss Mako."

Yuki smiled, turning back to Lei. Her sharp teeth were clearly visible now.

"See? What did I tell you! Nothing to worry about!"

Lei's eyes widened when Yuki whispered something into the golem's ear. What he thought was his accomplice was actually... teaming with the enemy!? Lei couldn't believe this. Was this her plan all along?

"You're killing me. You're killing me with deliciousness." Lei squeaked. "Since this is the last time we're ever gonna be citizens of Manta Carlos, I demand a gravy boat so I COULD POUR WINE GRAVY ALL OVER MY SUPPLE BODY."

Everybody was staring at them now. Lei didn't care. Lei gripped the edge of the table and started to hyperventilate. Oh god. He needed a brown paper bag, and maybe $500 in cash.
