Shit. Isaac was still shaking as he watched her lose consciousness. He had to do something. Moving over to her cautiously, he scooped her up into his arms and rose, some of his strength returning from having fed from her. Damn it. He was so angry with himself.
Isaac was mostly a blur as he bounded across campus with Tiffany in his arms, taking her to the infirmary. The holes he'd made on her neck had already closed up, and he could have explained it away, but she might need a transfusion...so he told the staff exactly what happened at the risk of getting in trouble. At least they seemed more concerned with stabilizing Tiffany for now.
Isaac was fed several more blood packs before he was allowed to sit by Tiffany's side as she lay on one of the infirmary cots, his eyes a deep, warm brown like the color of melted chocolate. He put his head in his hands and sighed. This was all his fault.
