
Isaac looked at her and nodded quietly, sighing a little as he stood up and went to get her a glass of water. There was a water cooler in the waiting room. He pulled one of those cone-shaped paper cups from the dispenser next to the cooler and filled the cup before returning to Tiffany's side, only to find her typing away on her phone.
"Here," he said, holding the cup out to her. He wasn't about to ask what she was typing away for; probably texting her boyfriend or something, probably telling him everything that had just happened...guilt knotted up his stomach and he sat back down wordlessly.
