Not understanding entirely why that she couldn't use her powers, he saw that she could make a lay up and merely knew that she was better than him. Alastair smiled and took the ball, hoping to actually make a lay-up of his own, and as he dribbled to the net sloppily, he missed and hit the rim.

"Well, let's see just how this is gunna turn out."

Kyako tried to keep from laughing, but she didn't quite keep it contained. As she shook her head at him, she retrieved the ball and tossed it at him. "You get the ball first." She would give him the advantage since he was the one who was worse at the game.

Clasping the ball, he looked behind to find someone slam into him before he could give his mock death glare to Kyako before the match. Being sent to the floor, Alastair only thought that he should take the glove off and try to hold his hand on the guy's face until he screamed for mercy. Smirking once, the boy got up and kept his glove on, getting the ball, and not hearing the apology fully.

He didn't say a word to the man that shot him down. There wasn't much to say and sorry doesn't display emotion. So there's no point in saying it. His eyes just looked at the man in the eye. Dribbling the ball, he smiled to Kyako and started to crouch again.

Kyako shook her head in slight confusion by it all before glaring at the man. Finally, she took her gaze off of him and smiled back at Alastair. She looked down quickly to her sandled feet before taking them off and throwing them against a wall. She would do better barefoot.

Looking back at the person dribbling the ball in front of her, she braced her feet shoulder length apart and bent her knees, ready to break off to the side, depending on which way he chose to go.

"You're going down!" He said with a certain glint in his eyes, his legs darting forwards, and the ball going up behind him. Turning around with his left hand clasping the ball he tried to get around Kyako.

He got by, and Kyako quickly moved to get in front of him. She was determined not to be the one who was 'going down'.

The boy decided going head to head with her wouldn't be wise, so turning around he decided to bully himself closely. Backing up with the ball, he hoped to get around her if she decided to get the ball and if not, just try for the shot.

Kyako let him slip by, not wanting to get knocked over. She doubted he would make the shot, but didn't give a hint to her thoughts, lest he actually make it and her look stupid.

He was surprised to see her pass and turned around shooting it. He may not be good at getting layups but he could definitely get a regular shot. The ball swished through the net and his eyes looked at her. This was not good so late at night just sweating like this. The glove on the inside started to burn.

Grimacing at his hand he decided to move on and pass the ball to her. What he didn't realize was that the heat might be going through the glove.

Kyako felt like an idiot for letting him have the shot. She grimaced as her face turned a light pink in frustration that was aimed at herself.

She held her hands out to cach the ball but the heat from his hand was so hot the basketball exploded mid-air. Shocked, the girl dove to the ground to avoid getting hit by the flying pieces of it but got her cheek hit.
