He nodded and started for the nearest hallway that would lead outside. When she asked about his favorite place outside he thought for a moment before speaking.

"Im fond of forests and caves. Though being alone near the sea or a lake can be nice if its not too cold."

He answered herm voice thoughtful.

Jennifer smiled and nodded. Soon a door loomed at the end of the hallway, and she knew it was the door that led outside. She stepped forward and opened it, revealing a bright day with almost no clouds.

The young girl stepped out into the sunshine, looknig around, then back at Seth.

He watched her go ahead of him, grinning slightly. He stopped as she poened the door. Eyes shut against the bright light that was suddenly in his face. A hand raised to cover his eyes and the shadows moved formed by his hand. They almost seemed to envelope the white of his eyes in black. It disapeared as he blinked and shook his head.

In this pure light he didnt exactly look sickly. Sure his skin held a small barely noticable tan, but with the darkness behind him he looked like someone who didnt belong where he stood now. Diging into a pocket he found a pair of simple shades and put them on, looking at her from behind the tinted glass.

"Where to first?"

Even his voice seemed to lose strength in the light, like any shadow would. At least until the sun completely destroyed any trace of the shadow in its bright wake.

Jennifer ignored what had just happened, but couldn't help giggle at his sunglasses.

"Since I like spelunking, I guess we should head to the Caves, or where ever!"

She said, looking around.

"Buuut... Which way?"

He raised an eyebrow but did not question her laughter. Her eyes directing him to where it was focused on.

"Spelunking? New word to me..."

He informed her and the smirk took a mischief hint to it. He pointed towards quite farther away, towards mountains. Like you could actually see the caves unless you had REALLY good eyesight.

"If you feel like risking the Head Lady's anger on oneself so earlier. Tsk tsk. If you'd rather wait for another day to go exploring that way I can show you some nice places near the lake, though I doubt it's empty at this time of day. "

He made a gesture with his fingers, brushing one pointer over the top of another. when he anwsered where the caves were.

Jeninfer nodded and turned away from him, towards the mountains.

"Spelunking and Detention, or Lake and people. Spelunking and detention or lake and people."

She turned around with a smile and pointed towards the moutains.

"I'll take detention, please!"

She said, putting her hands on her hips.

"Plus, we're in a group, so she won't get mad!"

His laughter was bright as he listened to her and watched her actions. She was different, but seemed full of energy. A thiought went to wondering if someone she reminded him on still held that energy. He doubted it oddly enough and started leading the way to the Mountains.

"Two a pair three a crowd. I doubt you'd get that much detention. Probably a warning and a lacture of taking care to know what kind of people you hang out with."

"Are you ure you want to go to the caves? ve heard their dark, scary and filled with who knows what kind of monsters. You know, the kind who love little girls.."

When he questioned her going voice held the sarcasm meant for those sentances. He looked at her from the corner of his eye and got exactly what he deserved for saying such things. He walked straight into a tree.

As he collided with the tree he kind of just stood there for a minute, as if registering what had just happened.

Her eyebrow raised at his words, but as he walked into the tree, she fell onto the ground laughing.

"You.. Ran into... a tree!! Ohmigosh!"

She said between peals of laughter. Finally, she wiped her eyes and stood up.

"Sorry, it was funny. Now, you don't think I'm scared of monsters under the bed, do you?"

She said with a grinning.

He didnt glare, he knew he deserved it. He just waited for her laughter to die down before she spoke again.

"I think you need to get your eyes checked for the monster in front of you. The one who LOVES to eat up little girls. Seeing as your new, how could you know of the monster?"

He rushed forwards towards her, intending to pick her up and carry her over his shoulder like a bag of potatos.

Jennifer's eyebrows shot up so fast it was a blur. She cocked her head, a little confused. When he approached her, She put her hands on her hips, confused to the point of no return.

"Errr... But your no monster? Are you....?"
