Loudness was the only way to describe a place such as the cafeteria. The chatter of students before, between, or after classes, scrapping of utensils against plates, and the occasional yell across the room. Of course there was the dropped food and assortments of smells all around. More than a few thumps from students who fell after stepping into a slippery puddle of food, which always caused a ripple of laughter through the crowds.

One student sat in the back, wiping at the food stain on their shirt. It was the attempt of someones ill fated food fight, which didnt even last two seconds. Nose wrinkled at the smell, having no clue what it was now on his shirt. Dark eyes looked up from under his black hair, though the white patch seemed bright against his dark hair. Wearing a black muscle shirt and black jeans he was a dark spot among the students. Giving up he gave a sigh and cursed the student under his breath.

One little girl walked through a wall and a table, dressed, but obviouslt tired and hungry. She yawned as she walked through the tables, and occasionally a surprised person, towards the lunch line. She quickly got some cereal and yawned before she took her tray to an empty table in the back of the cafeteria.

Another yawn came from her before she noticed some other guy trying to wash some white stain of his shirt. She turned back to her bowl and poured the white milk into it. She picked up her spoon--wait, she had forgotten it. She grumbled something and started walknig back towards the line. She snatched one, and back to her empty table she went.

Jennifer took her spoon and started her cereal, at the same time watching the boy. Of coures, she had manners. She wasn't chewing with her mouth open or sneezing when she had food in her mouth. Geez, that would embaress her.

Looking up he made his own way for to the line to get some napkins, steps quiet as he went and returned. Eyes fell on the girl who had walke through tables and people. His face showed nothing of what he thought though.

Sitting down again he took a bite of toast and glanced around, catching her looking at him. He raised an eyebrow but did not smile. He didnt seemed angered either, just more of he really didnt care.

After a few moments ge finally spoke, looking at her straight in the eye. "Yes, I do know I have something on my shirt. Though if there is something on my face Id be glad to hear of it."

Jennifer swallowed her bite of cereal.
"It's not that, but your the only one sitting at this table, and there really isn't anything else to look at but food, and that's not very pleasant to look at in the mornings. At least, to me it isn't. By the way, I'm Jennfier."
She took another bite and watched him, smiling a bit.

He have a nod and took a few more bites of his toast as well as a swig of orange juice. It didnt look normal, as if he had added something to it. Lips took a smile that was more a sneer.

"Not many sit here when I am here. There was someone earlier, but he left after deciding to try and start a food fight. Seth."

Jennifer blinked at his juice. Of course, she didn't object or ask questions, that would be rude, and of course, she didn't like being rude.

"I don't like food fights, though if your not getting hit at all by food, watching can be fun. I just got here yesterday, I don't take looks to harshly. I don't take them for anything at all, actually. My sister looks really mean, but actually she's really nice."

The young girl took another bite of cereal and swallowed. She turned around and looked at all the people talking. Most of them were avoiding to look at them, and it was hard not to tell. She turned back around to face Seth.

"So, Seth, do you have any siblings?""

"I usually do not mind them, though as lnog as Im not included. This time I was, and i think most potential trouble makers learned."

He shrugged and watched her, eyes held no light, like a black hole. He noticed people avoiding looking at them, and he didnt mind. Though he realized she must think it odd. When she questioned him having any siblings an emotion crossed his face for barely a second. It was a mix, of anger so strong it almost hid the sadness.

"A twin sister. Though you couldnt see the resemblences any day except for on a new moon."

At this little burst of emotion from him, she looked down. She blushed, and looked at a little black spot on the table where someone had poked a hole halfway through the table. She took another bite of her cereal and leaned back. No, she didn't care that this boy had strange juice and non-reflectant eyes, he was nice to her. And she liked nice people.

Looking at her he sighed. He didnt mean to scare her or whatever he had done. Finishing his food he crossed his arms and looked at her. If he wouldnt apologize, he could at least make it up to her.

"So you've just arrived? Gotten lost yet or do you have someone whos shown you arround?"

Jennifer looked up.

"Oh, uh, I haven't gotten lost but I haven't had anyon show me around..."

She said, finishing the last of her cereal. She leaned back in her chair and watched her shoes. Even though she could be nice and loud sometimes, she knew it was best to keep quiet at others.
