Some time out

Tellios was still confused, but things started to make sense. Like a tetris game going right for once. When all the pieces slowly fall into place. He smiled a bit as slowly everything came together. He sighed for a moment as he then listened to Pollyanna.

Did... She really feel that way? Now Tellios was having his own insecurities. Literally. Green lights flashed in Tellios' eyes for a brief moment, before his eyes turned a variation of red that blinked a few times. It then stopped as he shook his head.

restarting some of himself caused him to temporarily stop all movements. As he went through some kind of.. Self aware upgrade. He could see the text as it was going. He looked at Pollyanna. With a smile on his face he looked into her eyes. He saw what made her eyes shine. Besides light.

"Maybe.. I am more human than I thought. I just. Thought that all I had was my programming. I may have been more of a fool than I took myself for." Tellios watched her grab her ankles as he blinked a few times and his hands on hers. He didn't really care what she looked like. As long as she was who she wanted to be. "I.. Have never had someone's admiration either. I was... Not the most Social character." Tellios himself was trying to find out what he was created for. The emotions were just something new. He smiled as he then moved to sit beside her and put an arm around her.

"I do Pollyanna. I wish.. To spend far more time with you than we did. Or even the term 'Dating' comes to mind if you a-" He stopped himself as he realized that he was doing what he wasn't used to. Asking someone out.

"That's.. I mean. If you were interested." He said, putting his hand out. between them with his palm facing towards Pollyanna.

She could see it in his face that something was rewiring itself in Telliosâ€™ head. From the small adjustments in his eyes and the puzzling look in his expression it was clear. But he was beginning to understand it more, and whatever his coding was doing it was writing itself for the better. She smiled as wide as he did, happy that he was learning. More and more, he was becoming a person. And whatever he was made of didnâ€™t matter to that fact.

They were both somewhat introverted, which explained why this was so difficult to understand. She never felt this way about anyone before, but her heart was reassured when he put his arms around her. Yeahâ€¦ This was exactly what she wanted. She couldnâ€™t imagine anything else. She scooted under his arm as she looked up to him, her brown eyes closing as she cast forth a smile. He said he wanted to take her out on a date, andâ€¦ Well, her face became red once more.

"A.. Date?" She repeated, almost speechless. Nobody ever wanted to take her out on a date beforeâ€¦ And well, she didnâ€™t even know what that entitled. Would it decide if they would be together? What if it went good? What if it went bad? She mentally shook off the thoughts as she knew now wasnâ€™t the time for them. She wanted to be here with Tellios- and whatever would happen would be taken in their own pace. So when he made the simple gesture of holding out his handâ€¦ She grinned eagerly.

"I would love to." Pollyanna placed her hand in his. She couldnâ€™t think of anything else she wanted more at the moment. This feeling she hadâ€¦ It felt funny, but she didnâ€™t want it to go away. It was a new experience, and Pollyanna was all about trying something new. It was like a painting, the two of them. It would start out as an idea, and hopefully work its way into becoming something truly beautiful. And she could only hope that would be what happened. "Iâ€™ll be happy with anything we do. Just as long as we do it together I meanâ€¦ I canâ€™t imagine a date that would be anything less than great with you." She affirmed lightly, before doing something she never had done before. She leaned in to place a brief, sweet kiss on his forehead for less than a moment, before retreating back. "Does that sound good to you?"

"Yes. A date."

He said with a smile. He wanted to spend far more time with Pollyanna, as well as give her space. holding her hand in his he slowly grasped it and held it. Watching her face turn red was adorable. She was flustered. She was utterly adorable to him. He gave some thought into trying to finding out where she would like to go. Would she want to drink? Maybe a glass of wine or two and see where the night takes them?

Well to their dorm. Tellios gave that thought. They shared the same room which was interesting. Maybe.. That wall at some point in time could come down. Reveling what Tellios wanted to keep hidden. Besides his horrid drinking habits. He didn't get drunk, so why not indulge in expensive water.

"Pollyanna, that sounds perfect to me. I will do what I can to make it memorable. I mean.. We could consider this our first date.. The coffee and bite to eat.. Then here. And we go a lot to see still." He said with a smile as she kissed him on the forehead. He gave her a peck on the cheek.

It was warm. He kissed someone else. A human being. Someone who he was happy to be with.

Even Tellios' lips were warm. Not cold like he should be for a robot. He was the same as everyone else would be in this situation. He stood up and held his hand out to help out his.. New girlfriend. His first one.

"Shall we?"

She was so happy. As little friends as she had, each one of them meant something special to her. She wasnâ€™t always the best at showing how she felt but she certainly wanted to express it in the best way she could. At least being with Tellios like this opened her up to possibilities regarding showing her potential off to him. She could show her appreciation with more hugs, and now kissing among other things. Which meantâ€¦ Yes, she did really have a boyfriend. Human or not, he mattered to her, and as they grew to know each other inside their dorm she felt herself growing very fond of him. And now it came to this. She giggled as he kissed her back. If she was in her bat form, her tail would certainly be wagging nearly off her body.

"Heheâ€¦ Well if thatâ€™s the case, I canâ€™t wait to see where the road takes us." Pollyanna smiled brightly, hopping to her feet once she placed her hand in his. And even when she did get up, she didnâ€™t let go, as she gently linked the two of them through a hold of hands. He really wasâ€¦ Warm. And soft. Just like a human. And though she could see the nanites on him occasionally, and the robotic adjustments occurring behind his eyes through his head. She happily led him outside of the dangerous theater zone, and into the light of the hallway once more. "We can still do so much today, if you want. I mean, we can go down by the beach or explore somewhere elseâ€¦ Iâ€™m happy with whatever you want to do. Iâ€™m not even sure how a date goes or anything, but Iâ€™m already having fun!" An idea came in her head, and she considered it over as something doable for the two of them. She wanted to be close to him today. Nothing would make her happier. A gentle nudge to his side from her elbow came. "How bout we head to the beach? Iâ€™m sure the sunset is coming soon, and I sorta want to watch it with you."

Pollyanna was one of his only friends. Mainly because he wanted to be good friends with his roommate, but now they were roommates that were dating. He was lead out of the place, his movement slightly stiff as well as sometimes he just seemed to roll at some moments before a robot voice was heard through the hall. It's echo lingering in the hallowed halls.

"Upgrade:100% completed. Have a nice day Subject; Legion,"

The name in the halls stired something in Tellios as his smiled turned to a slight grim as he shoot it off and went back to his smile. He looked at Pollyanna as he opened the door to let her out and then would find a way to seal the door.

"I'd like that. If you don't mind."

He glanced and hope that Pollyanna missed his moment of hesitation. Or that whole situation. He began to make his way to the gate as he allowed Pollyanna to get out of the courtyard and he began to make his way to the beach. His hand slowly grasped Pollyanna's. Holding it tight, but not tight enough to hurt her.

"I.. Never got a chance to see the sunset. Only.. Pictures."

He said shyly as they were making their way there. He was hoping that Pollyanna was happy with him. They were both the same. He was happy he was able to find someone regardless of his robot form. There were some roads they would cross when they get there. Besides that. For now he was happy. That was the point of being with someone..

The sudden noise had admittedly startled her when they were vacating the building. She jolted a bit, before calming down enough to realize something spoke within him. It was perplexing and astonishing all the same. Upgrades? What kind of upgrades? Tellios worked just fine from what she saw. Why did he need to be upgraded? On any case Pollyanna tried to shake it off. Heâ€™d tell her only if he wanted to tell her, and she wasnâ€™t going to take him out of this good mood for prodding questions. Only did she see that he looked troubled was she concerned, and naturally she couldnâ€™t be quiet for that. "Everything alright Tellios?" She asked gently, before squeezing his hand just a little bit in reaffirmance. She wanted to keep him happy, and her too. Now wasnâ€™t the time for little worries, but for new beginnings.

Once they were led down the road by the shore Pollyanna looked to him almost shocked when he said he hadnâ€™t seen the sunset. "Well..." She grinned, hoping to cheer him up with a gentle tug of the grip they shared. "Guess thisâ€™ll be a good learning experience then. Itâ€™s super pretty too, it makes me feelâ€¦ Calm. So I hope you like it." While this was fun, Pollyanna couldnâ€™t help but to be a littleâ€¦ Nervous. Excited, but things like this would get them talking. Perhaps about one another. She didnâ€™t know where the night would take them, or what will happen afterwards. Regardless the evening was approaching as the afternoon sun almost began to fade. She picked up the pace a little bit as she headed down the road towards the shore. There, she looked at her robot friend, and smiled brightly. "We still have a good couple of minutes until the sun goes downâ€¦ Anything you wanna do here?" She grinned, eager for the night ahead.

Tellios was visibily concerned for a moment as a voice shattered his thought. His distaste of the word. 'Legion'. He looked at Pollyanna who was squeezing his hand as he smiled lightly. His eyes turned black. It was pretty obvious he was lying with that.

"I am fine Pollyanna."

Not even together for an hour he had already lied. Though, he wasn't too fond of telling people the name he was branded with.

He really wasn't. The name brought things like bad memories. Or nightmares that keep going on and on as if playing over and over and you can't help but watch.

He looked at the beach as they got there. Pollyanna looked beautiful regardless. It was nice to have a friend like her. He held her hand and tugged on it to pull her in. Placing a hand on her back. And slowly running his hand, which had parted hers and slowly ran it up her arms to her cheek.

"I.. Can think of something."

He said as he slowly leaned in to kiss her. Just once would be nice. He thought to himself. He awaited to see if Pollyanna would meet him halfway. If she did, she'd feel something so close to flesh that it should be considered human.

"Pollyanna, only a few words could express how this day has gone. How things are now."

He was fine. She didn't really believe it, but by the looks of it he didn't want to upset the evening either. Either that, or it wasn't quite the time yet to surface painful things to her. Maybe some things were better not spoken. So for now, Pollyanna would indulge in what was going before her. Without worrying about the darker undertones of the man she was with.

How could she focus on it anyway? His touch is what got her attention. The hot feeling building up under his skin as his hands drew from her and up her arms. Her brown eyes glassed over as his fingers traced her face. Staring up at him as she could telegraph what would happen next. For a moment, she was still. She couldn't believe this was happening. To her of all people. This was... This was too much. She was about to seal the deal with someone she found herself appreciating more with each passing day. But she never thought someone would like her like that. She was a... Well, monster for lack of a better term. And growing up she knew she didn't belong, and felt lonely most of the time because of that inevitable fact. But here she found someone who was just like her, and didn't care that she could cover her body in fur or mutate herself into something horrible. And now... Now he leaned into her.

She could only muster what she felt was the proper response.

She leaned into him. Gently. Placing her hands behind his head as he wanted something from her. He was a bit taller than her, so she stood on her tip toes to deliver her prize towards herself. "W-well Tellios... Tell me please... Are those words kinda on the same line as this?" In an easy motion Pollyanna leaned forward with closed eyes and performed the ritual. Her soft lips placed themselves on him. Hesitant at first, but quickly warmed up to his touch. She held him in her for a few moments, only to flutter open her eyes as she gently let go. With that she paused, and looked up to him. Wondering if he would come back for more. "I'm not very used to this... So I hope that tells you just a little bit of what is going on for me."

Tellios felt them both kiss as she asked if it was a sufficient way to express her feelings. He smiled as he leaned a little closer to her.

"Extremely close. Actions mean more than words." He whispered lightly to her, leaning in a little closer, their lips barely touching as he spoke once more. "My turn..."

He slowly moved his hands to her lower back, holding her in as tight as he possibly could. He was a little warmer than expected, but that's because of the situation. He kissed her this time. He felt her lips as he could picture this moment. He lightly gripped her shirt. Holding the kiss for a bit longer than expected he pulled away slowly, their lips if looked at from a distant as if they never parted as he slowly put his forehead on hers.

"I.. Do find myself at a loss of what to do, but I will do what I can. To make you happy."

He slowly let go of his grasp on her shirt as he lightly placed it back to his palms on her back. He was extremely pleased with the way things turned out. As he then pulled his head away.

Just to gaze into Pollyanna's eyes.

"You are.. More gorgeous than any diamond."

He said for a moment. Then he looked over the sunset. As the sun was going down he held Pollyanna a little tighter. Just the sight was beautiful. With Pollyanna it was something special.

"It's.. beautiful."

She hoped he liked it. She really did. After all, it wasn't really like her to go out of her way to impress somebody. At least on this level. Merely because she wasn't sure initially that this was for her, but now... She was certain.

He told her that actions spoke louder than words, which was true. Pollyanna was an artist. She envisions things and saw them to reality. Plans didn't involve pages of notes, with the exception of some short hand. She liked doing rather than thinking. Throwing caution to the wind seemed to work in her favor for the majority of her life, so why not now? He looked at her, in a way that made her heart beat even harder than it already was. He leaned back in, clearly unfinished. It was his turn.

He spoke against her lips softly as another flush of red came to her face once he spoke of him wanting to show her back. His grip was gentle, and yet strong in the sense of knowing what it wanted. Her hands traced to his chest to open her palms and press herself closer to him. Just being close to him was a wonderful feeling. Even as he pulled back he kept himself rested against her. Speaking about how he wanted to make her happy.

"Oh Tellios... You don't really need to try to do that." She let go from his mouth to his forehead. To plant a small peck to that, before returning back to his lips to whisper against them. "But... We can take things easy. And figure out what we want, and where this all can go. This is really new to the both of us. Go with the flow, y'know?" She smiled brightly then. As the evening breeze took its course over the ocean and brought the warm air over the sand. Her curly hair billowed a bit as the setting sun began to fall. Pollyanna looked over to it, gazing at its beauty almost breathlessly.

As she did, he whispered to her something else she hadn't heard before. That she was gorgeous. She never really gave thoughts to her appearance, especially since what he saw wasn't what she really was. But Tellios had accepted her, and all she could do was give that sort of affection back. "I'm glad you think so much of me. Thank you." She muttered, perfectly content and with that red on her cheeks that never seemed to leave. He said how beautiful she was, and the sunset. And the way he treated her was something beautiful in itself. He giggled a bit as she held on close to him. Watching the orange disk in the sky sink below the horizon. "Isn't it? This island has so many possibilities... And is really a sight to behold. I'm glad I came here. For many, many reasons." All of them were amazing. "I hope you find yours too."
