Tellios watched Pollyanna enjoy herself and smiled. It wasn't everyday that he got to go out and enjoy the world with someone. Or even his new roommate. Friend, and who knows what else? He twitched his head for a moment as something came up. He realized that he was missing something. He wanted to work on an assignment for one of his classes.

So he decided to toss that aside and then devote what he could to Pollyanna. He realized that some people MIGHT not be as good as science as he was. I mean, he was a walking computer. He smirked a bit and began to come up with ideas to help Pollyanna be better. Or just be more confident. "Yes. I wish to examine some of them. At least see what separates those who live here and those who don't." He was kind of curious on that. Something as simple as a blood sample would be best. Not just of Pollyanna. Any human would do.

Tellios took a picture of Pollyanna's smile in his head and saved it. He was happy that she was happy and at the end of the day. That was what counted. A sleepy happy roommate, and her robot friend. He was overwhelmed that she enjoyed his company. People used to think him weird due to some of his cold logical thinking. Though overtime it lessened as well as became more human with his words and ways "You do not owe me nothing. I owe a lot more for your time." he said with a smile as he was handed and the tab and he put it and some money on the table. He got up and held the door open for Pollyanna and would walk out behind her when she left. "Ready when you are."

With the meal paid for and the plan set, Pollyanna was more eager than ever to hit the road. Nothing was concrete per se but that was just how she liked things. The best adventures occurred from sudden instances, or at least that was what she personally believed. Though Tellios was one for critical thinking, he was just as up for the plan or lack thereof as she was. Perfect. ”That should be easy enough to figure out. Take me for instance- My DNA is all weird and stuff, at least that’s what the vet… Er, doctor said." She recalled, hoping that may help him some. Then again there were plenty who weren’t as blatantly abnormal as she was. The ability to manipulate her bone structure, fur, and senses with no pain and little discomfort? That was abnormal.

"But y'know, I'd say you should try to find that out from anyone who is interested. There are plenty people here who'd be more than willing to be apart of research on who they are. I don't feel like enough of that goes on here, honestly. There's gotta be a sciencey explanation for why people were born the way they are here!" Her? She already knew. She was a product of science as it was. But the others just being born this way? It was truly fascinating. Maybe her friend would be able to figure out things faster than any other researcher here.

With that she followed him out of the cafe, thanking him as he held open the door. She looked around the bright area as she smiled ever so faintly. It was a nice day, anyway. And they had the whole day to do whatever they wanted. With that, she had a bit of a bounce in her step as she waited for Tellios to side beside her. "So, what's the coolest thing you've seen here so far?" She asked curiously. "I know plenty of cool places around here. Even an abandoned theater, but I think some kids got in trouble for that awhile back."

Tellios gave it some 'thought' as he got outside. A lot of people had what magic would consider a curse on them. While science would call it a gene or even just something else like their mind had unlocked potential. Seeing as most people from what doctors say that the normal human used 10% of their brains. Tellios used many mini computers all working at once. Like a beautiful symbiotic technological marvel. Or monstrosity. "A Vet? Interesting." he said as he ran simulations. Tellios did figure out that due to Pollyanna's situation a vet would probably be better suited for anything than a doctor.

That information did help him in the long run. At least it will. Tellios decided that he would tempt fate. Not now, but in the future.

"Human researchers require sleep. I do not. All I require is a power source and ample technology in which I may utilize to run the necessary tests as well as time." He said blinking a few times. He realized that he might have actually been thinking that over a little too much. Needing samples from a majority of the island due to the make up. Wizards, Demons, Angels. The whole thing. How many people would agree to this? Tellios would need to give it thought.

He was walking beside her as he was talking. His eyes created what looked like a 3d image of it. Having Traffic, human or cars. Street light locations, the stop lights even Down to the littlest detail he could.

Coolest thing? Well Tellios hadn't seen much of the island. "I believe the coolest thing I have seen was the ocean. I am not familiar with anything else." He said, his attention was perked by the theatre. "Oh? Well. I may wish to take a look there. I would like to should we go that way."

He was interested in it. Actually Tellios wanted to go there. It was a theatre. He did like theatre. Seeing as Theatre is a large part of human history. As well as something where technology was used for many things.

Admittedly it was really embarrassing for her to admit to where she had to go for some of her health related needs. She was mostly animal, but she didn’t like being treated like one. Though Tellios didn’t make fun of it, she still looked down towards the ground. "Yeah… Um, I go there for occasional checkups and certain types of medication… It’s sorta embarrassing, haha..." She laughed almost nervously, before folding her arms across her chest. "Don’t tell anyone, though."

Soon enough though her mood picked itself back up, but not before remaining quiet as he explained himself. As he was doing so Pollyanna got to thinking about her admittance. She was different, yes. And she wasn’t proud of it. She looked to Tellios and secretly wondered the same thing about him. Was he happy with who he was? was he programmed to…. No. Pollyanna knew he had real feelings and real opinions. No science-y stuff could tell her otherwise. Sure, he really was just a mass of cute little robot-bugs. But he was a friend of hers that had the same amount of humanity as everyone else. Perhaps that was what truly mattered and not the practices and lifestyle of one another. They were still people at heart, despite what was in their DNA or lack thereof.

She smiled once again when he played to his strengths. "See? You’ll learn new things in no time!" At least she hoped so. ”Even with the ocean there’s things to learn. All around you there is.” He was really smart, so taking him to exercise that would be crucial for him. So naturally it was wonderful that he indeed wanted to go try out that suggestion to him. To break into an abandoned theater to pass the day away. Sounded great! "Well then we don’t have time to lose! It’s only a few blocks away, if I remember right. Follow me!" With that she took the lead to guide the robot forward on. This would be a fun adventure, so long as nothing bad happened.

After a handful of minutes Pollyanna stood with Tellios in front of a rusty pair of locked gates. Behind them a few yards away was the theater itself in broken shambles. The poor thing looked to be as old as the town itself. "Perfect." She grinned, before looking at Tellios. "It’s not structurally sound, but I think we can spelunk a bit before it falls to the ground. Just need to figure out how to get in..." Her fingers traced the rusty padlock, before meeting with her chin to tap it pensively. "If only I could fly...."

Tellios hear her talk and them just blinked for a moment. He wasn't sure on what to say so he ended up putting an encryption on it. Then double encrypting it so he couldn't access it with out using the password. Even then. It was stored well enough that no one else could get it out of him. "I understand Pollyanna. I will not mention it." He said with a smile on his face.

Tellios was as human as other people. Just in a different way. His own body and mind were made to think like a human. It was a perfect A.I. That worked together with eachother to make Tellios who he was. He wasn't too sure on it all. There was a lot of information to go through and a lot to figure out. How was he supposed to explain who he was besides 'think if a colony of ants made a person.' When the robots were really small spider like robots. Either. "I am looking forward to a few things."

He smiled a bit more. Information was his forte. He was a walking computer that could store information and quickly analyse things as he was going. Making notes on things as he went. He wasn't just mapping the city. He was taking advantage of knowing movements by cameras of small nanites that were perched hidden in plain sight that you would need a great sense of sight in order to find. In holes, telephone poles and what ever. He spoke to Pollyanna "Lead the way."

He followed here and then eventually got to the rusted gates. He watched her look at it as he began to examine it. It was made of metal that Tellios COULD actually eat to replace some of the nanites that he had lost on his trip. "Flying may not be the best option. I have a solution" He said. His hand turned into a group of nanites that kept moving over eachother, like bees on a ball over a wasp. His hand grabbed the lock and chain that kept the door shut and the nanites encompassed the chain as the lock fell to the ground as Tellios opened the gate slowly. It made a large creaking noise as he looked at Pollyanna.

"This would be a good time to say... Ladies first." He said with a smile. Allowing Pollyanna to go first as he would follow after her.

Staring at the gate, Pollyanna tried to think of a solution. Though Tellios said that flying was not avisable, it wasn't like he could do so anyway. Her wings were useless and could only get her a few feet or so off the ground. Nevermind with a person on her back, or rather a robot. Fortunately the robot in question was more intelligent than her and could figure out the most practical solution. And anyway, she could get to watch his cool little nanites get to work.

And so they would. The little robotic spiders easily broke the lock of the gate, as well as the chain they ran up. All of this occurred before they returned to their rightful owner. A broad grin came on Pollyanna's face. "That is so cool." She stated enthusiastically, only further impressed by his little nanites. What couldn't they do? She wondered mentally. The thought though was soon put on hold when Tellios invited her forth in a gentlemanly fashion. "Oh! Okay, thank you!" With that she walked confidently on in, up to the door where she waited for Tellios to catch up. "Let's try not to break anything, okay? Not like I'm worried we will, but this place has a lot of history... And I wanna preserve it as much as possible." With that note declared she patted Tellios' back, before pushing open the door to invite him in. "C'mon then, this should be interesting!"

Right inside the rusted over doors lay the lobby, covered in its crevices with cobwebs. The counter seperated by glass in front of them was most likely the box office. The mutant girl glanced around to the hallways beside them, and them to the grand staircase behind the counter that must have led to the main auditorium. To the left pointed consessions. To the right, the once pristine silver sign was now tarnished and illegible. "This place looks like it used to be the talk of the town before it shut down." After the quick inventory of the area, Pollyanna looked behind at Tellios and smiled. "Where would you like to head to first?" She asked, before glancing back around. So much to take in, so little time... The question was whether or not she would get much out of this the way she was. "Maybe I should shift... Might be easier to explore things in my real form..."

Tellios was surprised by Pollyanna being surprised. Looking at his hand slowly turning back to normal he shook it off. Something he was so used to was a surprise to someone else? This was an investigation on his own. Just to find out what surprises could be made from her. He followed Pollyanna into the building and looked around at the place. It was almost beautiful except the cobwebs and all.

"In the end. This place is still gorgeous.. If only I could find a way to.." He then became lost in thought of an idea. A great one. Looking over the place he realized that he would need a lot of time and money to rebuid this place or even renovate would be harder due to being more expensive as well.

He looked at Pollyanna. "I would assume this place was the leading place for entertainment a while back. I am not sure about now." He said as he looked around. The lights were flickering as he began to see outlines in black and white of the place. The outlines showed words and some of the cobwebs. Some others made their homes here. Tellios looked at Pollyanna and smiled. "Do as you please. Pollyanna is Pollyanna."

He said. He then kind of looked away as he was trying to figure out a few things inside his own head. What was going on with him? Tellios normally felt shunned and different, but feels happy and content with Pollyanna.

"Mhm..." Pollyanna muttered almost dreamily, as her eyes traced around the room. It was as if this place was stuck in the early 1900’s. Sure, the silver platters were a bit tarnished and the floors looked a bit weak but otherwise things were for the most part in okay shape. "Just needs a little TLC is all. Too bad it looks like the city gave up on it." She uttered, frowning a bit at the sight. It really could use the renovation. She was sure people would flock to it if it were in peak condition again.

She walked a bit away from him, to explore her surroundings. Everything was either a dusty sort of shine or a faded gold marble. "I feel fancy just being in here!" She chuckled a bit, until he gave her the okay to morph back. Though it was easier and preferable for her to stay in her human form, unfortunately that ‘itch’ of sorts she got in the back of her head whenever she needed to shift was returning. Besides, it would be easier anyway to listen for small noises and smell different scents. And see in the dark if necessary. So without another word, she ducked behind the counter and proceeded to do so. A handful of seconds later, she returned back to side beside Tellios, as a smile cracked upon her muzzle. "This way I think I can hear if the floors a bit too weak for us to be walking on it… Or something."

With that she looked upon the corridor and grand staircase surrounding it to see where they could explore. "Where would you like to head to first? I know that you like theaters and stuff a lot, so why don’t you lead the way?" She offered lightly, as she nudged him gently on his arm. She was excited to look around with her friend. Pollyanna hadn’t done anything like this ever before, and it certainly would be a learning experience. If anything, it would be a chance to hang out with Tellios and get some art inspiration. Already she could tell this place could give her some ideas.

"I wish somebody would fix this place up… Might be pricey, but it would be worth it."

Tellios looked around the room, slowly scanning his surroundings. He placed his hands on a few things just to see in what kind of a condition they were in. Some restoration would be needed. Other than that this place was in relatively good shape even if would need a lot of TLC. "Agreed. This place is.. Beautiful. I would have loved to see this place as it was. Or maybe we can."

He looked at Pollyanna and went to raise a hand to put a hand on her cheek for a moment and then stopped as he heard something creak on the ceiling. Looking up it was just the chandelier moving slightly. He shook his head as he looked around. Trying to decide where to go next.

He made his way to the concession stand as he opened a door. The loud creak make Tellios stop for a moment, realize it as the door then open it all the way and walked in. The concession stand was a large room with what looked like to be a bar, a few tables broken beyond repair and chairs that have seen better days. It looked like most of the equipment was taken out a long time ago. Either by people who came in, or when it was shut down.

"You may see that wish. I will look into it."

He said mentally taking pictures of the space.

In this form, Pollyanna's hearing was significantly better as her ears flicked around to pick up noises. The creaking of rooms, the sounds of each other's footsteps, the gentle drop of water from other rooms... But like this, it was more important for her personally to hone in on Tellios' words. She was taken by surprise when he hinted that perhaps they could do something to fix this place up. Could he... Do that?

"What do you mean?" She asked, though her mind briefly slipped from this curiosity to flow into another train of thought. She felt his hand reach up to her cheek, to which she felt the sensation of heat build up under her fur. She smiled a bit, and took in the brief moment the best she could before he put his hand down. Even after though she held a funny feeling in her stomach, one that made her smile and feel even more motivated to explore with her friend.... Or, whatever he was with her.

She followed him into the next room, which was a large concession stand that almost looked like a buffet. Her muzzle then slightly crinkled with this new smell, as she commented with a chuckle "Well, whenever they abandoned this place they may not have taken all their food with them.". It wasn't an overwhelming smell, but faint enough just so her sensitive sense of smell could pick it up. "It's a shame all of this stuff went to waste... I don't know if the equipment itself can be fixed up, but it sure shows how old this place is." She looked at a popcorn popper, which was far more intricate than anything nowadays. At least, in terms of the amount of parts used to perform a single job. "All of this is like stepping back into a frozen part of time... Well, minus the spiderwebs, rusted metal, broken tables and... Pretty much everything else."

With that, Pollyanna looked back to Tellios when he further discussed his idea. She beamed as she went back to side next to him, wings folded against her chest. It was a bit more chilly in here than out there. "You... Want to restore this place?" She asked, tilting her head. "We'd probably have to get the city council into this... But we're not really supposed to be in here in the first place. I wonder why they haven't done anything, and block others from trying to do so themselves..."
