Was it odd to have a sleepover with a friend at the age of sixteen?
Maybe. Did Gabe care? Absolutely not. He hadn't had a friend spend the night in what felt like an eternity, but add in the fact that it was his boyfr- no, partner, Yuki? It was going to be a very exciting night. I mean, it was the same as any other sleepover, right? Just two friends, hanging out, eating pizza and playing video games until the early hours of the morning... The chance of cuddling close, maybe a brief kiss good night...
Gabe messed up. Gabe messed up bad.
Well, it was too late now. He knew Yuki would be getting dropped off soon and then the hangout would begin. Gabe also knew his mother would be coming home later in the evening, so it wasn't like the two of them would be totally alone. That would have been a whole other can of worms. But for now, things were simple. Hang out, play some games, and just... have fun. Lord knows the two of them could use it. He glanced to the clock for what felt like the umpteenth time, the digital numbers reading 5:48. He glanced to the door from the couch again, waiting for the knock of his friend and partner so the night could begin.
