Excited to hunt for food, Ania lept to her feet and began to think of what she could make. She could probably make little side dishes out of all the foods she brought, but she hadn't thought to bring any true lunch foods. Skipping around, Ania haphazardly yanked open cabinet after cabinet, scanning each one carefully. None so far contained what she was looking for. Bouncing back over to a box, she peeked under the flaps to find several little packets of dried chicken flavour soup and a big bag of rice. Scooping up a few pouches of each, Ania deposited the pile on a rickety little table. Resuming her search, she was successful in finding a satisfactory mix. Ania had just one last cabinet to look in. Curious, she opened the door energetically, and squeaked when a pile of papers and various other office supplies fluttered and flopped down around her. Freezing up, Ania looked around with wide eyes, hoping that no one saw that. "O-oh... How did that happen?" Dropping to her knees, Ania bundled up as much as she could and stuffed it back into the cabinet, squishing and bending things to make it all fit. Slamming the door shut to make sure it all stayed put, Ania ran back to the substantial pile of food she had found.

Taking the hem of her shirt, she stuffed all the packets and boxes in the makeshift hammock. Rolling it up, Ania shivered as the air hit her exposed stomach, and hurried over to where William was searching. "I found food!" Crowing her excitement, Ania began to prepare their meal, deciding on a soup. Sorting through the few bags of dried vegetables, she picked out carrots, broccoli, and a packet of dehydrated onions. Holding them out to William for him to approve, Ania looked up hopefully. "Do you like these? There isn't much in here for supplies, but I think I can make a chicken and vegetable soup with rice."

<div align=center>William had since unearthed what looked like a very old kettle, it was rusty and brown on the outside, but the inside was still clean and silver. It would make tea okay, he skittered to where he'd put his coat and dug around inside the pockets, bringing out a handful of teabags and crossing back over to Ania, placing them next to her pile of food and smiling brightly, they had done a good job, he thought, they could make lunch with this. "Can you cook?" He asked, tilting his head to the side, William was pretty good at cooking, but more so when he had a recipe to follow. He nodded, "you did a good job." He chirped.

It would be nice to take a break and sit down for a little while, he wasn't so much hungry as thirsty, and his mind kept wandering to tea. It was an odd little craving he usually had, William loved tea, though perhaps made it too sweet for anyone else but him to enjoy. William favored foods and drinks packed full of sugar and e-numbers, they just tasted much better that way, his mother had always warned him they'd rot his teeth, well my teeth are just fine. He told himself, aside from his incisor teeth, which were just a little crooked.</div>

As William placed his teabags next to her food pile, she smiled fondly at him. They made a good team, it seemed. This was going to be a good meal. "Yes, but I prefer to bake." A slight smile touched her face when he complimented her food hunting skills. "You did a good job too! Though, that kettle has definitely seen better days."

Turning back to her duties, Ania assembled all the things she needed and began to prepare for the meal. "Hmm, do you think anyone else is hungry? I don't know if we have enough for everyone, though... "

<div align=center>William's face lit up, if there was one thing he liked more than anything it was cake. He too, was pretty good at baking, he was good at cupcakes, though he tended to eat the mixture before he ever actually got round to baking any cakes. It was so difficult to leave it alone, it tastes as good as the actual cake it's self. "I like baking." He chirped, nodding a little. "I love cake." Cake would have been something he would very much like to have right this moment, chocolate cake with pink icing. He scowled, "oh darn now I want cake." He whined.

Ania was right, the kettle had seen far better days, but it'd do for now, it'd make tea at least. That was a good idea, "we don't have enough for everyone, I don't think... But we at least have enough for the people that need it." William was thinking something along the lines of the very old and the very young, there was a few of both in here, luckily none were particularly hurt, it'd be nice to give them something though, at least. "We should feed ourselves first, they won't get looked after at all if either of us pass out." He let out a short trail of nervous laughter.</div>

Ah! Cake would definitely be nice. Her favourite things to bake are cakes-- theres so much you can do with them. Perhaps one day she could offer a cake to her partner for being such a kind person. Yes, she would have to do that one day. "What flavours do you like best? I think vanilla and chocolate together are nice. It's too bad we can't make a cake here ..."

Humming thoughtfully, Ania worked as she spoke. "Yes, hopefully no one is dreadfully hungry. Ah, well if it comes to the worst, one of us can probably go to a local store to find food for everyone." She didn't see very many people who were actually awake enough to want food, so hopefully that meant they wouldn't need anything for a while. Plopping neatly diced carrots into her mixture, Ania worked carefully, making sure the ratios looked okay. "Please don't pass out, you might be too big for me to drag to bed." That didn't sound creepy at all, you dirty thing. "I mean, ah, drag into a little cot ... ? It seemed to only get worse as she carried on, and Ania's face tightened in a massive effort to not laugh at herself.

<div align=center>William thought it would be near impossible to make a cake here, though he would have liked to as much as she did. They could cheer people up with it, it'd make everything much nicer. He purred at the mention of chocolate, food was on his mind for once, though like usual, it was candy. It was always candy. William liked anything with sugar in it, though more so if there was extortionate amounts of the stuff in it. Proper meals were not something he knew well, he didn't like to eat all that much and usually favored toast over supper.

William didn't much fancy leaving the building, it was cold, but what had to be done would be done. He laughed at the way she had worded what she'd said, the image of her trying to drag him to somewhere comfortable was funny to him, "I'm not sure if my boyfriend would approve of that." The boy returned, he smiled and shook his head, he was only teasing her. "I'm kidding, I know what you meant." William wouldn't pass out anytime soon, not from hunger at least, though he'd probably want to curl up and nap at some point, he thought there was one or two spare beds.</div>

"Well, he would be more than welcome to come join." The line had come out before she even realised it, and she was confused about where it had come from. Laughing a bit, Ania shook herself off from these thoughts, and finished her soup concoction quickly. It smelled good, anyway. It wasn't the best thing she had ever made, but then again, she didn't have a fully stocked kitchen at her disposal.

Carefully setting her soup aside to cool, Ania wandered over to where William was making tea. "How are you holding up? I think the soup is done. Isn't the best, but it'll do."

<div align=center>William snorted and clapped both hands over his mouth, he blushed hard and giggled. "Oh dear." The boy shook his head and drew a breath. "I don't think he'd mind too much." He teased, a small, mischievous smile crossing his face. Though he shook his head and ran a hand through his hair a moment later, shifting back to his more or less completely innocent self. William didn't look like he should have any kind of clue about anything like that, he looked far too cute and young, though of course all that was more or less the complete opposite of how Gabriel knew him from time to time. He wouldn't go into that though, he liked the innocent image that he portrayed to most people.

"The kettle has just boiled." He answered, nodding. He'd found some mugs in a cupboard and had placed a teabag in each. He took the kettle from it's stand, and filled each cup up, there had been some milk in a small fridge underneath a counter, he'd checked the date, it didn't expire for about four days yet. "I think there is some sugar in here somewhere, I hope so. Are you finished cooking?" She looked more or less done, the smell made him hungry. He'd hadn't really eaten properly in a day or two.</div>

Ania giggled at William's reaction, it was fun to make him blush. "No? Perhaps you could invite him over, then." Sticking her tongue out in jest, Ania tossed some final spices into her soup before turning off the heat. "Oh, I do hope there's sugar. At least enough for tea, if anything." Opening cabinets to search, she murmured under her breath, chanting "sugar, sugar, sugar", almost as if she were calling it.

Ah, there. Plucking a half-full container from a shelf, she was delighted to see the label 'sugar' emblazoned on it. "Sugarrrrr!" Setting it near the mugs, Ania returned to the bowls she had found earlier. "Yes, soup is done! Just in time, too. I'm hungry."

Ladling some of the soup into both bowls, she carefully carried them over to a small table that sat inconspicuously by a little pile of supplies. It didn't look terribly pretty, but it would be a nice place to sit for a meal. "Hmm, no napkins, though. Try not to get too messy, I suppose."

<div align=center>Bill laughed again, "I can call him if you like." He clapped his hands when she located the sugar, he'd probably have eaten it from the packet if he'd been told not to as a child, though he'd done it anyway behind his mothers back regardless of what she had told him. He spooned several generous amounts into his mug and stirred it until it dissolved. He took a tentative sip from it, and purred at the sweetness. It tasted good when you hadn't really drunk anything for the past few hours, he'd forgotten about drinking more or less. "Me too." He shuffled over and passed Ania her mug. "I'm not sure how much milk you would like."

William was neat with his food, it was unlikely he'd make mess, or he'd try not to anyway. He thanked her, pulled up a chair and perched himself at the table. He liked soup, "thank you." He chirped, smiling up at her and picking a small spoon up that was on the table. He took another sip of tea, it was warming and felt good to drink. He scooped up a spoonful of soup, blew on it, and placed the spoon into his mouth. "It's good."</div>
