Following William to where the lady was suppose to be, Ania collected bottles of things that she thought might help. Even if they couldn't save her from death, they would be able to ease her pain and make sure she was as comfortable as possible. Her arms were overflowing with towels, pain killers, antiseptic and drying cloths by the time they reached the woman's resting place. As the partition was taken away to reveal the gory scene, a small, sad hiss escaped Ania like a deflating balloon. She didn't imagine it to be this bad, not in the least. Glancing up briefly as if to give herself strength, Ania settled her pile of things on an empty table nearby. "Uhm ... Uhh we should probably, um, clean her off a bit ... and then bandage it up?" She had never done this before, only seen it on TV. The woman seemed to be alive, and Ania approached her slowly. Glancing back at William with wide eyes, Ania steeled her nerves and pushed on, peeling back the sopping sheet from the limp body.

Immediately, the sour stench of blood and misery hit her like a brick wall. Her nose crinkled up in disgust, as she flung the sheet to the floor. Stepping back and gasping for air, Ania managed to find a surgical mask. Cutting up a strip of her shirt, Ania folded it up into the mask so it would rest under her nose and over her mouth. Her clothes detergent muted the smell enough for her to work.

With shaking hands, Ania carefully dipped a cloth in antiseptic, and began to clear the blood off the woman's skin. Soon, it was revealed that a large hole rest in the middle of her body, and loose pieces of flesh billowed in the river of blood. Turning away from the gruesome sight, Ania was more than a little frightened. "Um, you said you could heal, right? Do you think you're strong enough to heal, uh, that? At least enough to stop her bleeding ..."

<div align=center>William thought he was going to vomit, he'd covered his nose and mouth with his sleeve, and all the colour had drained from his face. He didn't think it'd be that bad, he knew there was a reason he had been scared to take the bandages off, a pang of guilt rattled him, he should have helped her earlier, I wish I wasn't such a coward. Bill was a coward, everything scared him, he was nervous all the time and the slightest strange noise would make him jump out of his skin, he'd even freaked out at the sight of his bloodied hands after he'd tripped over one time.

He nodded a little, he'd be able to help a little, but he didn't think he'd be able to heal it completely. He didn't want to touch it though, the sudden thought made him scowl. She's dying. Suck it up and stop being so damn selfish. He snapped at himself, stiffening his gait and shuffling closer a little. "I can try.." He mumbled, he hoped it wouldn't exhaust him too much, curing Gabriel's hangovers was one thing, but this was a fatal wound. He shuffled a few more inches closer, his eyes flickering to those of the injured woman. She stared at him, it made him feel uneasy, her pupils tracked his every movement, even the motion of his hand as he reached down to place it on the wound. He felt sick, it was warm and wet and he could feel her heart beating faintly through it. He held his breath, it was all he could do not to bring up the contents of his stomach. His brow creased, he needed to concentrate.</div>

She felt bad for William when he covered his face with a sleeve. It stank horribly, but this had to be done. Stifling a fit of hysteric giggles, Ania couldn't help but find this morbid scene funny. A tall gangly boy, hovering over a very bloody lady, trying not to either throw up or pass out.

Busying herself to keep her mind off the oddness of it, Ania concentrated on trying to wipe away the blood that poured out of her wound. Glancing up at William, her brow creased in pity as she watched him struggle to push through it. "I believe in you. You go?!" The last encouragement came out sounding like a question, when Ania wiped something semi solid off of the body. Turning over the cloth, Ania went pale as a piece of something that looked like tissue was stuck to it. Dropping the rag quickly in warm water, Ania turned away quickly to compose herself. Slapping herself mentally, Ania turned back around slowly, breathing slowly to get a grip on herself. William would heal her and everything would be alright. Yeah.

Shuddering at the bucket of water, Ania decided that she wouldn't touch that just yet. "Yeahh, you can do this!" At least if she couldn't tidy a bit, she could offer a bit of encouragement.

<div align=center>William thought he was going to be sick, his stomach was churning and for one moment he could feel the bile raise it's self in his throat. He backed away, some of the flesh had knitted it's self back together and the blood had stopped for the most part, but the wound was still fatal, the woman was going to die, there was no doubt about that. There was nothing he could, his powers weren't strong enough. William's hand was bloody and his face had turned snowy white. "I... I... Need to... To wash this off..." He stammered, though before he got anywhere near the sink he stumbled a few inches to the side, searching for something, anything to vomit in, there was no way he could hold it down, he was disgusted. Poor William didn't think the gooey, warm feeling of a fresh wound was going to be pushed out of his head for a little while, he was more or less scarred, for a little while anyway, he'd probably end up spending a night with Gabriel and he'd forget all about it.

Either that or he'd spend three hours crying about it and keep Gabe up all night, not in the good way, either. The boy retched and doubled over, bringing his lunch up into a rusty bucket in one corner of the room. He whimpered, and pushed his hair back with one hand, the woman's blood still coating his left hand. I'm never using that hand for anything ever again. He told himself, he took a moment to recollect himself, though the smell of death still hung around the room and it was making him feel queasy all over again. He shuffled to the sink one one side, turning on the hot tap with his clean hand and shoving both of them under the flow, the water was near scalding but he didn't care, he needed to get it off, he needed to feel clean.</div>

Well, at least the woman wasn't bleeding as much. That was good. Glancing up at William to congratulate him, Ania stopped when she saw how much he suffered. She felt a bit bad for asking him to try to heal, but it had to be done. Her eyes tracked William's progress, wincing when he vomited into a bucket. Her tongue poking out slightly in disgust, Ania turned away and tried to shut her ears. It would be awkward to try to talk to him, wouldn't it? They just met afterall. Hopefully he could sort himself out. Glancing down at the bucket that held her old cloth, Ania opted to just get a new rag to clean the rest of the mess away. After a bit of hunting for new supplies, Ania found a clean cloth under a pile of papers. The sound of a running tap caught her attention, and she turned halfway to see that he had made it to the faucet, and was cleaning himself up. Well. That's good.

Turning back to the newly healed woman, a look of almost relief was in her eyes. Of course, bleeding heavily couldn't be too comfortable. Patting the stranger awkwardly on the forehead, Ania went to work cleaning up the rest of the body fluids. It looked like William had done a good job of patching this person up. Hopefully she could live after all! Finished with the rest of her cleaning, Ania lifted a new top sheet over the lady. Hopefully she would be okay and could sleep soundly after that whole ordeal. Her job sorted, Ania approached her partner, tentatively reaching out and poking a shoulder blade. "Hey. Are you okay?" She hoped she wasn't responsible for scarring him mentally for life. That wouldn't be a nice thing to have on her shoulders. "I'm sorry for that ... " She wished she could heal, too. Maybe it wouldn't have been so hard on him if there had been two people healing.

<div align=center>The boy quivered a little when she touched him, his hands still under the water, his skin was burning and it was beginning to hurt but he couldn't care less, he'd rather have burns than feel dirty. He glanced sideways, and smiled sheepishly at her, apologizing softly for his reaction to it. It wasn't her fault, either, neither of them had known that injuries were going to be that bad. It was his job to heal, after all, that was what he'd signed up for, to help, there was no use being here if he didn't want to help. He took a deep breath and drew his hands out from underneath the water, a quick glance down to them confirmed that the skin was angry and blistered. It stung. He confirmed that he was alright, for the time being anyhow, though he couldn't get the image out of his head, or the thought of the woman's steadily beating heart through the wound, it hadn't been a nice feeling, not like the feeling he got when he could hear Gabriel's heart beat through his chest, in fact it was the opposite of that.

"Ouch." He winced a little at the angry burns attacking his hands, he'd find something to bind them up with later, at least the blood was gone. His breathing had relaxed a little and he relaxed his shoulders just a little, his hands still dripping over the sink. "Don't be sorry," he smiled softly down at Ania, "it wasn't your fault." He laughed softly, and reached for the towel hanging next to the sink.

ooc: shh don't tell I've gotten this far</div>

Ania gave a weak smile in return to his. Hopefully that meant he was feeling better. Glancing down at her partners hands, Ania pursed her lips in disapproval when his hands appeared to be burned. Did his hands burn from healing? That was a strange reaction to a power... "Your hands don't look okay. Maybe you should take a break for now. I can take over from here." Michi still felt a bit bad for making him go through all that. Despite his reassurance that it wasn't her fault, she knew deep down that it technically wasn't, but he had still been stuck with a semi-useless partner. Well. Perhaps she could at least find him something for his hands. Opening a drawer, Ania rummaged around a bit before finding a small tube of a salve that was supposed to relieve burns. Offering it up to William, she couldn't help but stare at his hands.

Making a face as the gross blisters, her curiosity drove her to asking, "Is that a side effect of your power? Burning?" It never actually occurred to the girl that hot water could burn, and Ania thought that maybe that was the reason why he couldn't heal himself. She wouldn't want to heal herself if she kept getting burned.

Trotting back to the entrance, Ania fished a few snacks out of the pocket of her coat. Maybe this would help him feel better! Yes this was a good plan. Scurrying to where she left him, Ania carefully heaped her pile of foods next to him with a hopeful look up at him.

((you have good taste in music, friend. also uhm ignore any instances of 'Michi' if you find any :'D dog typos.)

<div align=center>"Are you sure?" William asked tentatively, he didn't really want the girl to have to do all this work on her own, but his hands were starting to hurt and he was starting to regret letting the water get that hot, he thanked softly for the salve, and uncapped it. It stung to rub it in though, and the boy winced noticeably. Is that a side affect of your power? William laughed, shaking his head as he did so, bless her. He thought to himself, smiling brightly down at her. "Ah, no." The worst side effect of using his powers was that is absolutely exhausted him, "the water was too hot." He'd just have to drink a lot of coffee to stop himself from falling asleep, he didn't think poor Ania would be able to carry him back to his dorm room if that did happen, and he didn't really want to nap among the sick.

He sunk down against the wall, and sat cross legged on the floor in the corner, away from all the mess and blood. Bill smiled as an array of snacks appeared next to him, and laughed again. "Thank you," a boyish giggle escaped him, "I could probably look for a kettle and make tea if you liked." He didn't want her to do everything, that wasn't fair because of a mistake he'd made with the hot tap. There had to be a kettle in here somewhere, and Bill got the feeling he still had teabags in his coat pockets that he'd stolen from Gabe.

((hehe so do you, I met him earlier this year and he's so sweet I just ;-; ))</div>

"Yeah! I can figure this stuff out. Easy." Flashing out a confident smile, Ania nodded, both reassuring herself and him. She wasn't entirely certain that she could figure everything out, but she would definitely try. Shouldn't be that hard to take care of sick people. She had taken care of her sick friends often enough. Of course, they weren't in any danger of dying or anything. Ania tilted her head in further confusion, though, when he laughed at her conclusion of the burns. Oh! The water was too hot. She supposed that explained why there had been a bit of steam coming from the sink, too. Of course, how did she not notice that before? Hot water made loads more sense.

Ania was pleased when William appeared to enjoy her offering. "Yes, tea would be nice. It might be a bit difficult to find a kettle, though..." Glancing around with a bit of worry, Ania didn't think she had spotted any type of brewing device. But who knows what wonders could be stored in here. On that thought, maybe she could fix a bit of food. Today had been quite interesting so far, and breaks were always fun. "Hey! If you make tea, I can probably find some food to make a lunch with? It shouldn't be too hard!"

((aw omg he looks like the sweet type, too ;0; )

<div align=center>That sounded like a plan, William was a little peckish, and a lunch break sounded good to him around now. He pushed himself to his feet, and laughed, he'd be able to find something or the other that could be used as a kettle, right? William was great at looking for things, he was good at tidying up after himself, too. He was afraid to look in the cupboards though, the ones he had already opened had been so untidy that he thought he was going to have a panic attack, how could anyone let something get that messy? He had asked himself, it must be an awful way to live.

He wandered over to the next room, through an open door that had been over on the right side of the room, there wasn't any patients in here, and various cupboards and boxes were stacked in the room, some open, others taped up. He wondered what was in those ones, it felt rude to open them. There was another sink in here, at least, maybe that meant there would be a kettle, too, it looked a little like a kitchen, but there wasn't an oven, nor a fridge. He pulled open the closest cupboard and frowned, this was going to be harder than he thought.</div>
