"That door closed behind us, you know. We would have to take a different one." He nodded.
What? No it didn't..
She doesn't know that.

He seemed to think for a moment, then took her hand and began walking towards the door the dark figure took. "This way, follow me." He ordered.
Rae frowned. She didn't realize this was the same way the man had gone. "How'd you know this door was here?"
He stopped and turned to her. "Things with eyes like mine." He pointed to his golden glowing eyes, "Tend to see very well in the dark, yes? In fact, there is no difference between night and day to me in terms of eyesight. The draw back to this, of course, is that enemies can also see me from far away in the dark due to my hair and eyes glowing like this." He explained.
Rae stared. "Oh." Then she asked, "So why didn't you tell me the door was there in the first placce so I wouldn't have to look for one?"
"Um.. what? I'm afraid I don't understand what you are referring to. Did I not show you just now the door?"
"Yes....nevermind." She looked down at their intertwined hands but didn't say anything about them. "Where does this tunnel thing lead?"
"That's a good question. I'll guess we'll find out." He had honestly completely forgotten that he still had her hand, he still hadn't remembered even after she looked at them.
