"I have a perfectly fine imagination, thank you." His voice grew dull, as did his face. "I just don't have any interest in trying to imagine clouds that look like things."
Rae glared. "Fine, be that way."
Not a word was spoken for a while. Then Rae smiled as Moe said hi.
"Hello to you too, Moe."
"What are you two talking about?" She asked.
"Nothing, we're not really talking right now."
"Oh...I knew that," she lied.

Paul looked around and prepared to greet the person Rae was talking to, but he didn't see anyone. What was she invisible?

Rae frowned. "She doesn't want to talk to you."
"He could be evil, you know." Moe said. "He may only be pretending to be your boyfriend so he can kill you."

"Huh.." He observed the 'conversation' intently, trying to pick up any information he could. "Doesn't want to talk to me? Why not? You're pretty rude, Moe. Perhaps someone should teach you some manners." He smiled.
"Perhaps I should just kill him where he sits. Tell him that, Rae," Moe growled.
"No! That's mean. You tell him."

"But.." At first he thought she was talking to him, but when he tried to defend himself she kept talking. And it became clear it wasn't he that she was talking to. "....strange...." He mumbled as he slid a few inches away slowly.
Rae didn't notice Paul.
"You're ignoring him."
"Doesn't matter, does it? You said he was trying to kill me." Rae pressed her lips together. "So I guess this'll give him enough time to make his move if he wants to, huh?"
Moe sighed with impatience. "You have an attitude problem."
Rae just grinned cheekily.
