Moe laughed. "He likes you."

"Nuh uh." Rae gave a frustrated sigh.

"You're turning red, girly."

"...It sure seems like you are." He honestly wondered if they were fighting over him. For all he knew they were. He had no clue what Moe was saying, so it was difficult to tell.

It seems Moe doesn't have much of anything in common with Rae. Her mind came up with a completely different person.
Is that.. normal? I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say..?
Well, if she came up with Moe because she was lonely, wouldn't her imaginary friend have a lot in common with her? Instead, Moe seems to be more like a dark side. Possibly the incarnation of Rae's feelings of hatred or mistrust. In short, she sees Moe not just due to loneliness or boredom, but because of suppressed memories as well.

"Playing hard to get, eh?" He teased.

"She doesn't seem very interested in me. I guess I'll have to settle for you instead, huh?" He wondered what would happen when Moe disappeared. Would Rae remember this conversation? Moe seemed to vanish from her memory at certain points, so he was curious to see how this would work.
