Rae shrugged. "I'll think of something." She said before she headed outside. Once out there she casually headed in the 'general' direction of the mountains.

It looked like she really wanted to go to the mountains. He noticed that was the direction she was headed in. He followed her without any sort of argument. He remembered that the mountains was where they first met. She had also tried to kill him. What ever happened to her imaginary friend, anyways? She hadn't appeared in a while. Did it have to do with her becoming friends with him? Maybe she only 'saw' Moe because she was afraid of being alone or something.

Rae soon realized she had forgotten her sword back in her room, but shrugged. Oh well. Paul's got one. And with my am hurt I couldn't swing one at someone anyway. Rae absently intertwined her fingers with Paul's as she walked and looked around them.

He didn't seem to notice what she was doing. He was too busy thinking about stuff. Random things, mostly. But things nonetheless. He also conversed with Corona occasionally, talking about.. of course, random things. Corona pointed out what Rae was doing but Paul didn't seem to hear him.

As they walked a chipmonk scurried onto their path. Rae stopped and after taking a slice of an apple she had save from lunch--it was wrapped in a napkin--she unwrapped it and knelt down. She smiled and held out the fruit to the animal. It hesitantly came forward and nibbled on it.

The chipmonk soon grabbed the apple slice and after one more glance at her, ran away. Rae straightened and started walking again.

Rae didn't answerbut kept walking. After another half hour of walking, Rae looked around them. They were about half way up the mountain side. "How much more farther should we go?" She questioned.
