"I know... but I'm also right. Right?" He looked at her and smiled. "I mean you never denied it. So one would assume you agree with me, then."
Rae blinked. "Why should I deny something you already think is right? You'll only say I'm denying it." He was right, but she wasn't going to admit it to him.
Rae frowned. "I didn't admit anything. And why is that good to know?" She took another drink of her water for her throat was drying up, as was her mouth.
"Oh, wouldn't you like to know?" He ate pretty fast. All of his food was already gone. He leaned back in the chair and relaxed.
Rae sighed and hurriedly finished eating. She would like to know why he thought it was a good to know, but she wouldn't press it. After she was done she stood up, grabbed her dishes and put them where they needed to go((where that is...)).
After a few moments, he also brought his dishes up. More pain seared through his ankle and he nearly tripped again, but he was able to catch himself. He really needed to be more careful.
Rae would have helped, but after his comments she didn't want to look like she was throwing herself at him, so she just stared. "Need a new ankle?"
"Yeah, I think Corona owes me. I wonder where he is, anyways. He hasn't said anything in a while. Sleeping maybe?" He shrugged.
