After a few seconds he followed her. Then he tripped again. "Argh.." He fell flat on his face. His ankle twisted just the right way to send a surge of pain up his leg. it still hadn't recovered from the fight against the lizard-man.
Rae spun back around and got near him, but not as close as before. "Why do you keep tripping?" She asked.
"My ankle.. it still hasn't recovered yet and I forgot and put too much weight on it.. heh." He slowly stood up. "Sorry. I'll be more careful."
"No no I'm fine. Don't worry." He completely ignored her first question and walked past her to the cafeteria door, and opened it for her. "Looks like I got here first, though." He smiled.
Rae smiled back and walked through the doors. "What has getting here first mean? That you don't have to pay for lunch?"
"Yeah...let's go with that!" He closed the door behind him. "It's not like its a date." He laughed at walked towards the counter. There was quite a big line due to what time it was.
Rae rolled her eyes with a grin. She got in line ahead of Paul and waited. "I guess next time it means we're going Dutch...?" She joked.
