As he tightened the make-shift bandage, Rae closed her eyes in pain. At his words, she nodded stiffly. "Alright." She opened her eyes and using her good arm, pushed herself to a standing position. The first step made her head spin, but Rae only sighed and waited for the light-headedness to pass.

"Just fine," she muttered through clenched teeth. On a normal day she probably would have been more nice about his help, but she was in some major pain, so she wasn't. Rae held her arm tightly against herself as they walked.

"You know.. Corona says if I use my sword right I might be able to cut off all feeling from your arm. You won't feel the pain but you won't be able to move it, either." Of course he forgot to mention how difficult this would be, as he would have to use his sword and hit Rae in the head at just the right spot...

N-never done it before? She was frightened beyond belief, but she figured if he missed she would probably be dead instantly. So Rae braced herself for the blow.

He swung his sword up at her and slashed across her eye and through her head. Though, no wound whatsoever appeared. Instead, she felt a slight pinch in her mind and the whole side of her body became numb, including the arm that was injured. When he realized he went too far, and she lost her balance, he caught her. "Oops... I guess I did it wrong..."
