Rae looked up and pressed a shaky hand to her face. "If you think that's why I threw up, you're wrong..." She frowned and again sheathed her sword. She would need to clean it later. But that didn't matter at the moment. She lookd at Corona and then at the place the creature had implanted its head into.

"It's the stench of the..." She couldn't form the word 'blood' or else she'd get sick again. "Fine. Let's go." She started off.

"Are you injured at all?" He had a small limp due to his hurt foot. Something else bothered him, though. That creature was too heavy and too big to enter buildings. And there was no way a building could withstand its weight that easily. How did it get on top? Did it jump? That doesn't make any sense.

The first creature they saw on top of the building wasn't the one they just killed.

"Yes, but I'll live." She smiled, not knowing the thoughts running through Corona's((or is it Paul now?)) mind.

((It's still Corona, he hasn't even left his angel form yet))

That lizard-man was even tougher than the one he defeated in the mountains. Could Lesset really mass-produce such creatures? He needed to find a way to shut down the production, or the island would soon be overrun by them...

"We're going to need to rest for a little while. I'm about to faint."

Rae immediately sat down. "Alright. Then sit. Just please don't faint. I don't want to have to drag you back to the school. It was hard enough just dagging you out of the water ten feet. Let alone ove a mile or however far it is..." She knew she was rambling, but she didn't care.

He leaned against a nearby tree. "I'm afraid its impossible. Taking this form is incredibly taxing on the human body. If I stay in it too long, Paul could die. The act of leaving this form leaves the body in such an exhausted state it can't keep up right away, so it passes out. I'm afraid we are going to have to rest for a few hours. If you wish, you can go back to the school by yourself. Paul will be fine alone."

As he explained this, Rae scooched((rofl)) over to sit beside him against the tree. Once he was finished speaking, Rae was already asleep. Which pretty much answered his comment about her going back to the school alone.
