Rae shook her head. He was crazy. He had to be. She sighed and quickly drew her sword. "What now?" She asked.

Where the axe had hit the ground was a large hole. It would easily slice any human in two.The creature, luckily, seemed quite slow. He knew that while it was possible to outrun it in short distances, in the long run it would catch up to them due to the fact that it would never tire. Corona knew he would have to transform to take it out. If he could distract it then maybe Rae could cut off its arm. Then again.. did it need its tail to balance itself? Hmm..

Corona held out his sword in front of him. Taking the pointer and middle fingers of his left hand, he ran them across the blade. This caused the sword to glow brightly. He tossed the sword up into the air. The sword spun in many directions, taking the attention of the creature. It suddenly stopped, then blade pointing downwards at Corona. It was then a bright white light exploded from it and shot down in a pillar at Corona. Soon the sword had become a giant white cross, transferring incredible amounts of spiritual energy into Paul's body.

White wings sprouted from his back. The light (along with the sword) vanished, leaving an angelic-looking Paul standing on the ground. The same figure Rae saw the other night from the cave. "It looks like its time to get serious." He turned to Rae. "Here's what we do. I distract the thing, and you try to cut off its tail. I'm assuming it needs that to balance its gigantic weight. Without it, it should fall. So be careful."

Corona would have no choice but to be the distraction, for the holy energy he emitted caused the creature into a frenzy.

Rae's eyes widened as she watched him change into an angel-like figure. She came back to earth when he spoke to her. She nodded a few times before slowly creaping around the monster, in the shadows so it wouldn't notice her - even though it's focus was on Corona. Once there, she lifted her sword up high.

Unfortunately for her, the sword glinted in the little light there was, and the beast saw it. Befre she could blink it's tail swooped around and hit her - forcing her against a building. The sharp pain immediately julted through her, but Rae didn't give up. Instead she quickly jumped back up and charged at the animal's tail.

When the tail came swooping toward her again, Rae quickly jumped on it and held tight.

Corona didn't see any opening to get to her. So he did the next best thing. Light shot out from both of his hands and took the shape of longswords. He jumped at the creature and spun around, sending both blades across the creature's chest and slamming his foot against its side. The holy power from the swords temporarily stunned it and it was unable to keep itself balanced with Rae on its tail. It fell down onto its side, roaring demonically.

Corona landed back on the ground but had to kneel down. He hurt Paul's foot slamming it against the lizard-man like that. "Rae, are you alright?" He looked up at her, hoping she wasn't crushed under the creature. He managed to stand up, ignoring the pain. Paul sounded quite annoyed, though.

Rae slowly stood. Every part of her body protested against the beating it had gotten, but she still nodded. "I...think so." She looked at the creature, then went slowly retreaved her sword.

He walked over to her, and thats when the creature suddenly jumped up to a standing position and swung its axe sideways at Corona. He was only able to half-dodge it and got hit with the blunt force of the creature's arm. He got sent flying backwards but slowly stopped in mid-air, using his wings combined with his energy to take flight, recovering from the blow. "Crud.. that stun didn't last as long as I thought it would." He shook away the pain but the lizard-man didn't cut him much slack. It charged right towards him. He flew up above the creatures head and swung down at it, causing it to crash into a nearby house and get its head stuck in the wall.

Rae watched this all happen before she jumped to action and with one strong forceful swing, chopped off its tail. The thing flopped around on the ground for a moment before growing still.

"The fist to slay a thousand demons... Fist of Heaven!" He slammed his right fist into the creature's head and it roared once again. This roar was nearly ear-piercing, as its body shook violently and began to disintegrate into nothingness. The roar didn't stop until it was fully gone.. nearly half a minute later.

Rae stared in shock at what happened. "What the...." She was speechless. What had happened? What had Corona just done? She suddenly turned and puked.

He stood up and looked at her. "Those creatures are made from darkness. In order permanently kill them, you need to destroy that darkness. This is why you cannot kill demons or some undead creatures with normal mundane weapons. Don't worry, that creature cannot feel pain. It may have sounded like it did, but rest assured it felt nothing." The lights that were still remaining flickered back on.
