The next morning Rae woke up with a headache. She squinted against the glare of the sun. It hadnot only been a few hours of sleep. She sighed and ran a hand over her face before looking over at Paul.

Paul was out cold, laying awkwardly across a root of the tree, he had definitely been asleep the whole night. Corona had not bothered to wake him up, he figured he needed the rest.
Rae watched him sleep for a moment before bringing her face within inches of Paul's and whispered in his ear, "Waaaake uuuup. Waaaaaake uuuuuup."
Rae grinned and leaned over again. "Waaaaaaake uuuuuup. Waaaaaaake uuuuup," she repeated, trying not to laugh.
Rae poked him, trying to see if he was ticklish. "Well, the school day is already almost half over, and by the time we get back it'll already be over. But you're waking up anyway."
Zzz.."That's...nice..." zzz... He seemed completely unresponsive. It wasn't even clear if he understood who was talking to him.
Rae smiled and thought about sitting on him, but instead just decided to do something that would wake him up and keep him awake. Without another second to try and persuade(sp?) herself otherwise, she kissed him.
While she predicted it would wake him up, she didn't predict something else. He kissed her back. Though, he wasn't fully awake and didn't quite realize what he was doing.
