Kal was really starting to noticeably trail behind Cam in their challenge, with Kal continually getting distracted by Cam's antics and his own private thoughts. Skye didn't want to interfere too much and make it seem like cheating but after giggling at Cam's dramatic flourish she walked over to whisper something in Kal's ear. He blinked and then smiled and thanked her.
"I know Skye, but I'm sure I can still win this. Just have to move faster," he said as he began working harder and harder at packing the shells. His muscles flexed as he moved bin after bin of shells. She had mentioned that even if he didn't win the challenge she had been enjoying the day. She said she didn't blame him for being so distracted by Cam's charm. And of course she had mentioned that they would all be pretty damn happy once it was completed.
Turning back to look over at cam he grinned. "Come on now, let's get this done in the next hour and then we can relax. There's not that much more to do." Well the pile was still pretty large but they'd done a huge portion of it already.
There was a bit of a shift in tone as Lyrseir's aura encompasses the room while she strode the hallway outside. Everyone felt calm and relaxed despite worrying she might peek her head in to the hoard room but she apparently hadn't planned on it. The aura faded back to the edges of its effects soon after as she walked back further away.
