That sentence gave Kal a shiver of excitement that ran down his spine. He didn't look forward to the cold weather but if he could spend the time curled up with Cam it wouldn't be nearly as bad. He blinked and then smiled back at Cam, he opened his mouth to reply with some sort of joke but found he had no words. Cam talking about wanting to be so close to him was an amazing feeling. It made Kal doubly sure about his plans.
He grinned at Cams dramatics and his reference that Kal would be surprised by his... well... surprise. To be fair it didn't matter what it was going to be. Kal was sure he'd either love it or find it hilarious, or both, depending on the type of surprise.
Kal begrudgingly began leading Cam out. "Enjoy the rest of your day Cam and I'll see you at the beach. Dont worry, I could never leave poor Sir Damsel blanketless. I could hardly call myself a knight of the shell-" his grin and laughter as he spoke broke off as he noticed how Cam had pushed himself off of the wall to stand up. Something about the way he was standing seemed a little off. It seemed like he was being really careful about how he stood. "Hey Cam, is everything ok? I hope your foot didn't fall asleep or something?" He didn't know about the injury. If he had he might have tried to insist on carrying Cam.

Cam followed Kal over to the door, trying to avoid leaning too much on his ankle without Kal noticing. But just then Kal asked Cam if he was okay, and Cam's expression froze on a small nonchalant smile. He had tried to hide the pain on his ankle the best he could, but somehow Kal seemed to notice it. Or at least that something was off. Cam balanced between lying and telling the truth, of course still lying how severe the pain was. He really didn't want to lie to Kal, but he didn't want to make the guy worried either. After a few seconds of consideration Cam smiled and patted Kal on the shoulder to reassure him.
Kaliyan was pretty suspicious about the 'stubbed toe'. The most likely time Cam could have hurt himself during their day was probably the fall when he had tripped and fell into his arms. It definitely didn't seem like a stubbed toe, and if it had been he probably wouldn't still have been walking funny because of it.
