Saeta

Saeta| Indeterminate| August 27| Female| Angel
Citizen | Head of Security at Eden
Citizen | Head of Security at Eden
appearance
Saeta appears to be a teenage version of Malara, complete with her lord's luxurious wavy blonde hair. She has an average build with mild muscle definition and the beginning hint of curves. She bears a pair of jagged scars on her hips, where both of her wings were removed from her body.
In her normal day to day, Saeta enjoys wearing clothing more commonly seen on men: khaki slacks, button down shirts, and square toed leather shoes. She occasionally accents these with portions of her armor, which is burnished gold in appearance but as strong as any normal steel.

personality
Saeta is, in many ways, Malara's foil. Level headed and rational, she considers carefully before acting on anything. She hates wasted effort, and so doesn't care for the theatrics and dramatic antics of her lord. She is pragmatic and doesn't revel in violence or debauchery as Malara does, though she does enjoy a good fight against a worthy opponent or a night spent with a lover regardless.
She is dedicated and loyal to her work and those close to her, readily throwing herself one hundred percent into the things she cares about.
Saeta loves Malara deeply, and will come to her aid no matter what. But she is not beyond chastising her lord for her more ridiculous or dangerous behavior.
Saeta, underneath er hard outer facade, has severe abandonment issues and a tendency to become incredibly attached to people that she allows to see past her more serious side. Losing someone is hard on her, and she tends to fall into a deep depression and fall back on her reliance on Malara, the only person who has never left her entirely alone.

powers
Vault of Arms.
Saeta possesses a pocket dimension full of weapons, all made of the same blackened steel as her armor. It is said that she has dozens of weapons stored within, and can summon them individually at a moment's notice.
By taking time (at least an hour) to meditate on her vault, Saeta can open it and pull out of put in weapons. Removing a weapon this way disconnects it from the vault, making it unavailable to be summoned.
Putting a weapon in requires the weapon to be in Saeta's hand as she meditates, where upon it vanishes and is in the vault for easy access. Multiple weapons can be put in or removed in a single meditation, but only one at a time.
When summoned, a weapon only exists in physical form for a under a minute before returning to the vault, unless it is wielded by either her or Malara. Beyond being unable to be wielded by anyone other than herself and Malara, the weapons hold very little inherent magic in them. They will eventually bend or break, at which point they cannot be summoned again until a week has passed and they have had time to repair themselves within the pocket dimension. If a firearm has ammunition in it, the ammunition will also be restored over the course of this week, since it is technically part of the weapon.
Swords to Seeing Needles.
Saeta's body is highly resistant to damage, not because she is inherently tough, but because she retroactively makes the strikes against her smaller. For mundane attacks, the damage is one sixth the severity that it normally would be. Magical weapons only have their damage reduced by one third. Magic itself, such as a blast of fire from a dragon, as well as psychic based attacks are unaffected by this diminishing.
Overpowering damage is still detrimental to her. An attack that would cleave her in twain would still likely be a mortal wound, even though it only sheared through one sixth of the area it meant to.

species powers
Being an angel crafted for war, Saeta is far stronger than most mortals. She can lift and throw three hundred pound objects with little effort, and her average running speed tops out at just under forty miles an hour. She can heal in a fraction of the time it takes a mortal to, severe wounds recovering in days rather than weeks. However she cannot regenerate lost limbs.
She gives off an aura that enflames the emotions of those around her, turning fear into panic and anger into murderous rage, etc. This ability does not affect those with a spark of Divinity or other angels, and only works so long as the targets can see her.
Likewise the abilities and attacks of those with a spark of the divine affect her normally, bypassing her ability to diminish damage entirely. She also cannot refuse a direct command from her lord, self preservation going completely to the wayside.

biography
Saeta was created by Malara herself, a birthday gift from Khalida to her daughter. Malara was ecstatic because she wanted a sister, and treated her as such during their early years together.
As time went on, their relationship changed as Malara grew into her more lustful side. Saeta remained loyally by her Lord's side however, doing whatever she wished.
When Malara went to face Khalida about Vatar's banishment, she commanded Saeta to remain there and prepare her armor. Not thinking anything amiss, Saeta performed her duty admirably until she no longer felt Malara's presence in Heaven.
Distraught, she assumed the worst and fell into a depression. She performed her routine work as instructed, but there was no joy or pride in it.
Months later however, she heard Malara's battle cry from Earth, and snuck away from Heaven to see her lord. She watched Malara fight a demonic centipede to the death in an arena. Meeting with Malara after this fight, she was elated when her lord ordered her to stay on Earth with her rather than returning to Heaven. She moved into Malara's home.
Later Saeta moved in with a woman she met and began dating, and not long after took a job at the brothel known as Temptations, later Eden.
During the Monster Invasion, Saeta's girlfriend, Abigale, was killed by the monsters.
Recently, Saeta left Earth with Malara and a man named Jackal with the intention of killing Khalida, Malara's mother.
