"Alright..." He smiled, "wimp." Valentine chuckled as he swam to shore. "Just kiddin'." His eyes looked up at the sky as he put on his shirt, the sand and wind combined biting against his legs and his thighs.

He looked down at the sand, making circles with his foot, which was now in a sandal. "Hmm...what is your favorite type of food and movie?" He looked at Amelia and smiled at the fact that she smiled. It was odd...how two friends could give each other such joy.

She smiled laughing lightly wringing out her cullottes she put on her shirt. She wondered why he had changed her so. She felt the cold air against her arms and wished she brought a jacket. She put on her sandels, feeling the wind blow thru her hair she smiled. She shivered again as a cold wind blowed against her face and arms. She may've been a vampire but she was only half thru blood meaning she still could feel hot and cold and could die just about like a human.

She glanced at Valentine wondering if possibly she'd learn more about him. "Hmm... my favorite food I thought I told you before. Pizza for resturant because I don't go out much, lasanga for homemade, and for dessert ice cream. And my favorite kind of movies would be action. Though I haven't seen many."

"Oops..." Once again, his forgetfulness had served him...badly. "sorry...forgot. Yea, I love action also, just the type with the swords and all." He looked up, wow the last movie I saw was a year ago.

He saw her shiver twice and then looked up. He wasn't as cold, but he was somewhat. It was just his feet that made him think he was on ice somewhat. "Here, take my shirt. It might do you some good. I know...nasty, but it is better than me seeing you shiver. It's a three quarter sleeve. I personally like them a lot."

He looked down, wondering if she would think it odd, him giving her a shirt. He also didn;t care if anyone saw anymore. He was with his friend, his close friend, and that is all he really cared about.

She looked at him with a look that asked are you sure. She then put it to words. "You sure? Aren't you going to be cold?" She was shocked he wasn't afraid of people talking anymore. She wondered what had gotten into him, she looked at him lightly looking in his eyes as if to see the truth.

She wondered why he was always so kind to her, well kinda but more kind then anyone had ever been. She looked down after a bit not wanting to make him feel weird by her looking in his eyes. She just wanted to know so badly why he was so different towards her then others.

"Nah, I'm not going to be cold. Ya know, I just want you not to be on this night. People usually have their shirts off on the beach anyways, so it won't look weird." He saw her look into his eyes and he looked down. I know that look! Valentine began to turn red unwillingly and then up towards the sky.

"You really...like me as a friend don't you?" He had wondered whether she was just standing him up or was she being true blue. Valentine also wondered if she thought of him as a friennd the same way he thought her as one.

She smiled lightly hearing his answer she put it on. She saw him turn red which made her turn red. So he had seen her gaze, she felt like beating herself up. Great now she had totally gave it away he had realized it. She listened to him talking.

"Yes I do... Like you as a true friend." She couldn't get the blush off her face from him noticing her gaze. She didn't want to rush the relationship into more even if he did. She wanted it to grow gradually and not break up. She kept her head down not wanting to see his expression since she had just probably made a fool out of herself.

"Good!" he smiled, his blush still on him. Valentine hadn't seen her blush, and pushed her towards the sand, just as he did in the gym that time he met her. "Then I guess you can take a push to the sand."

Valentine laughed some, and tried to run, but tried to laugh as much as he could. He knew she would catch up, and then push him...and far. The eighteen year old could only see himself now. He looked beyond, and thought of something.

She laughed lightly she couldn't get rid of the blush but she got up running after him not going her full speed but fast enough to catch up. She smiled slowing to his speed she gave him a nice push not too hard but enough to make him fall on his backside.

She laughed lightly stopping her running she looked down at him and couldn't help but wonder if he felt the same way. She wanted to ask but she thought it'd be way too bold and make the situation even odder. She waited for him to react to her push.

He continued to stay on his backside, Valentine could only lend his hand to her. "Pull me up!" The eighteen year old exclaimed in a chuckling tone. He was quite happy with everything that had gone on so far.

"Hey, I heard there was a dance on the twenty eighth of October. How about we get a bite to eat there, light some of the candles, and scare the living daylights out of some of the twelve year olds going out with their "boyfriends" and "girlfriends." He smiled, wondering if she would object to it. She probably would. She never liked the whole public scene thing.

She laughed. "No... I'm not pulling you up, your good and capabill of pulling yourself up." She said with a chuckle. She smiled enjoying the day with him.

She heard him ask her out, she got the idea of it being friends going together kind of thing but... She had never gone to a thing like this. She never thought he'd ask her, she thought she'd stay at the dorms buy some ice cream and watch a good movie but to hear him ask her out she smiled. "I'd like that, sounds fun I'm sure they'll be tons of things to do." She said with a smile realizing he didn't get why she had been blushing. Her blush wore away and she smiled.

She had just gotten asked out for the first time.
