Relaxing

Amelia had came back to her dorms way after 1am she never truely felt tired except when she stayed up longer then 48 hours then she kinda would fall asleep without a bit of tossing. She did get sleep though like 5 hours and then she popped out of bed and decided to sit in the lounge. She looked around the room thinking about the day before with a smile. She had reminded herself she needed to pick up a sword if she could find the perfect sword. She had a dream that she'd one day have a silver sword that shined so beautifully and had a few blue gems or jewels or something in the handle. She wanted it to be strong though. She sighed wondering if half the dreams she had would come true.

She heard something smash and got up off the couch noticing her friend in a chair trying to sleep. She looked down at him and couldn't help but let out some muffled giggles. She looked at him, he had bags under his eyes and they seemed blackened. She couldn't help herself he looked so pathetic.

She knew it wasn't nice to laugh at someone's misfortune but this was rather funny. "Sleep well?"

"You went to the forbidden without me?" She sighed.... "You do realize a lot of the vampires in the forbidden are there for a reason. The only reason I go there is they can't kill me since I'm a vampire themselves or they'd get in trouble." She said with a smirk... "But you need to be careful you smell like human it's a dead give away."

"Anyway I always get up this early.... I'm a night owl, but I'm up and about every morning since it's hard for me to sleep with the noise in the dorms."

"You do realize, that won't do any good? I mean hello, cologne only covers bad oder not human scent. And a stake won't do good unless it's food, some of the vampires aren't as young as I. Some are over two hundred years old, they are extremely good with their skills, almost indefeatable. Anyway that's a offense in the vampire community to try and kill them with a stake."

Amelia just smiled... "I haven't met them, I kinda came in late last night saw the werewolf in the Forbidden forest fighting a kid with powers. Kid lost 3 to 1, poor kid didn't know half he should about werewolves." She shook her head... "The kid was like clueless on his opponent."

She smiled lightly... "Sure, unless you rather sleep and we could meet up later. But I have a feeling more people will be getting up and you'd probably not get a wink of sleep." She said looking at his appearance again. "Maybe you should run back to your room and clean up a bit." She said with a smile that showed she was laughing inside.

She looked at him shaking her head, thinking about how much they did in the day they met. She knew it was odd for friends to grow so close that fast and she was glad she had. She always wanted a friend, a close friend. She couldn't help but think how refreshing it was.
