His eyes went wide, feeling the ocean tides drifting his motionless body. "Oh! No you're not!" Valentine swam with the side, landing on all fours. He was gaining on her, trying to grab her arms. "You are g-going in!"

His lips began to studder as they turned to a blue color. Valentine's eyes sparkled with the glimmer of saltwater stained upon the covers of his eyes. A smile erupted from his face as he began to advance towards her.

She laughed... "Oh yeah? Who's going to make me?" She said tauntingly. She saw him studder his lips turning a light blue she knew it was the coolness of the water and the contrast on the now partly cooling fall day. She smirked lightly wondering if she really should or shouldn't go in.

She saw a sparkle in his eyes and the smile. She knew what he was going to do,
he was most likely going to try and get her in. But she wondered how, she backed away from the water eyeing him. A amused look on her face, she wondered how to go about dodging it or making this more fun. She looked at him still watching.

Valentine ran, his hands scraping on the ground. "Ack!" Valentine whispered, his eyes looked at his hand which was scraped by the glass he had made in the sand. "Great..." He sighed and merely waved his hand and fell into the water.

"Whatever, I mean..you can watch if you like, as we talk from afar." He yelled somewhat above the sound of the roaring ocean. "So! How did you get that scar on your leg?" Valentine floated as he was close to the border, close enough so that the waves only carried him up and down without any saltwater going over his face.

She looked at him shocked he noticed, she decided since he saw there was really no reason to hide it. But she didn't know if she wanted to have the possiblity of others seeing. She decided to keep it on. She slowly crept in the water feeling it's chilling coldness. She was going to try and sneak up on him and pull him under jokingly for a few seconds.

She moved closer then stopped and smiled she was cold herself. She submerged herself underwater even though he was in a more shallow section she decided it's still be fun to see his face. She moved just feet away from him underwater.

He heard the swishing of water and smiled, "So! You decided to come in? You still haven't answered my question." His eyes closed looking at the sun as he sighed, wondering, I hope it is not depressing...I also hope it doesn't lead my stupid emotions making a werewolf like me.

The sun was so warm upon him, he heard the silence for a couple more seconds. "You're still on the beach? Then what is..." A fish...maybe...

She grabbed hold of his shoulders and pulled him under for a bit. Then let go trying to get to the surface to get air. She wanted to laugh so hard, she wandered if vampires could die from drowning. She heard by cutting off the oxygen flow to the brain they could die, so did that mean something so simple like drowning would kill them.

She felt the weight of the wet cullottes as she swam upward. Emerging from the water she waited for Valentine to come up. She thought most likely he'd be a bit ticked off that she had done that but she had to try. She waited listening to the waves she shivered lightly it was cold.

"Ah!" At first he thought a fish? Not possible. Looking behind him he saw Amelia and shook his head. Oi...Amelia! He raised an eyebrow as he began to sink. He had barely any air as he pushed off the ground, sending himself shooting towards the surface.

He gasped once deeply. "Well...that was refreshing." He laughed, not ticked off, but was in shock. "Finally you came in. Just remember I always get the last laugh." Valentine smiled as he floated on the surface.

"You know, floating on the surface is pretty comfortable; the hot sun against the sea and the body." He smiled, relaxed for the first time in some time. "So, where did that scar?"

She sighed.... "It's a scar I'd never forget, it's from my father. I was ten it was my birthday, he was drunk he was also upset because his new wife had moved out. He took out his anger on me. There happened to have a glass window right in the room we were fighting in and he threw me out it. Then passed out because he was so drunk. He never did anything worse then beat me but I'll always remember me laying there and the pain. It was the start of some of the worst beatings but I learned to dodge him. Most of the time it's better for my fighting skills."

"But I can never forget that. I learned how to take pain that day I couldn't move from the glass going in me and my thigh it had a deep cut. It's not my only scar, but it's the scar that it one of the worst looking." She said leaning back letting her body float she closed her eyes. It was cold the water around her. But she felt safe and glad to know her father was dead. She wasn't like some people would be after all that had happened to her in her life. She was a pretty happy person if she didn't think too much on the past.

He swam towards her, floating a little by her. He thought about one of the words that was spoken to him in the story. Glass. His eyes, filled with an idea, glimmered with a softspoken joy.

"Would you care to remove that scar?"
He wondered if the glass was still there in the scar. "Is the glass still in the scar that you have?" His eyes looked to the sea and then to the sun.

"Not really.... If it was removed I'd feel too normal, I don't want to forget because if I did forget it it'd be like being ignorant. I feel people need to see things to remind them other people have it worse." She floated along. "I'd like to hope that one day all abuse would be gone. But there are too many forms of abuse, Sonlath has one of them actually two. He has mental abuse and because of that abuse he's taking it out on himself thru alchol trying to forget it. My dad had a bad childhood, according to what everyone ays."

She stopped floating and moved her feet to stay afloat. "Valentine, Sonlath will become my father if he doesn't get help. My dad was exactly like him, there's got to be a way to change him before it's too late." She said this urgently but not in a heart wrenching manner. She looked at Valentine. "That's why I want to help him. And actually there is some glass in it but if it were to come out I wouldn't be able to move my leg since it healed into the bone."
