"Alright! I'm actually doing it. I'm really doing it. I'm floating higher." He flapped his wings harder to try get higher up into the air. He managed to get up another foot, now four feet above the ground. "I think I can get used to this.....huh?!" Cade noticed that Atalia was just simply floating around him in a circle. He looked on in amazement as he began to spin as she went around him. Paying close attention to her fairy wings, he watched as she gracefully proceeded. "Now THAT is beautiful."

Atalia nodded enthusiastically, and grinned. "Wonderful!" Though whenever he complimented her performance she bursted out laughing, and shrugged. She stood in the air, as if she was on a stage, and bowed. "Why thank you. It's nothing at all!" Atalia pointed upwards, and winked. She ascended, and then waited for Cade to catch up with her. She would then teach him how to glide, and conserve his energy.

He continued to flap his wings as he watched Atalia ascend yet again, even higher into the air. Slowly the flapping of the wings and trying to stay afloat was tiring him, but he refused to give in to the fatigue. Earlier she mentioned something about needing an extra 'oomph'. He thought about it and decided to give it a go. With some of his remaning energy, he spread his wings out as for as they could go, and with one big flap, he ascended higher than usual. He was now pretty close to Atalia, in terms of height above the ground. "Awesome...."

Atalia's breath quickened slightly as her wings were rapidly flapping to keep her afloat. "Now... To conserve your energy, whenever you go a long distance.... Flap once with a good 'oomph,' and then stretch them out as far as you can for a nice glide..." She tried it, but her wings didn't work that way, so she demonstrated quickly, and then resumed her own way of flying before she plumeted to the ground. "I can't do it though, I have a different type of wing." She said with a smile. "So are you getting it so far?"

Cade listened to Atalia's instructions before she fell to the ground. He made sure that he would he jot this down in his notebook later for future reference. He gave it a try. He pushed himself forward then forced his wings to flap once strongly. It was making him sweat. This was starting to wear him out but he stayed with it. As he progressed forward he spread the wings out as far as he possbily can to get the full sensation of gliding. As he soared through the air, he let out a cry of joy. He looked down to her and yelled out. "I'm doing it! I'm really gliding! This is...." as he exclaimed this, he wasn't paying attention to what was in front of him. Hence, his face struck the trunk of a tall tree and he quickly hit the ground hard.

Atalia relaxed as she fell towards the ground, letting wind brush past her face. Though before impact, she flapped her wings again, as she had let herself get some energy while she fell. She hovered over the ground for a few seconds before landing. Though when she heard Cade crash into the tree, she ran over to him, and kneeled by him. "Are you okay?!" She laughed a little. "Yeah, gotta watch out for those trees, they'll pop out right in front of you if you aren't careful!" She laughed, and looked over him to make sure he wasn't hurt too badly.

He laid flat on his back on the ground as he heard footsteps approaching him. It was Atalia checking him just to see if he was okay after the harsh crash. He slowly got up and sat on his backside on the ground. "I'll live." He hit the tree so hard, he began to bleed through his nose a little. He wiped off some of the blood and slowly got up from the ground. "I'll try to be more careful next time." he then said with a smile.

Atalia patted him on the shoulder, stood, and offered him a hand to help him up. "What a trooper!" She exclaimed. She giggled a little, and remembered her own beginning lessons. "Elatrion and I had a lot of problems in our first few months of flying... We weren't very happy with trees and lightpoles either." Atalia shrugged, and thought for a moment more. "You'll get the hang of it soon enough though. I remember when I had mastered it, sometimes I didn't even realize that my feet were off the ground!"

Cade smiled at her as she offered to help him up. When he stood up he shook his head and wings to try to shake off the pain. Suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his back. When his happened, his wings faded away. That was a sign of was severe fatigue. "Man, that took a lot outta me." he said breathing heavily. "Someday.......I'll master these wretched things..." he exclaimed.

Atalia nodded, and pulled out her water bottle from before, and offered it to him, after pulling out a small sphere of spiriling water for herself, sipping from the stream like a fountain. "Yeah, flying is quite draining while your building up the muscles to sustain yourself." Though whenever Cade referred to his wings as wretched, she titled her head, and raised an eyebrow. "Even after that display, you still despise your wings?"
