This has happened before? Unsurprising. Still hilarious. The moment Alby asked for water, Nebula accepted the request and zoomed out of the room. On second thought, she probably should have asked if he had a roommate or something, but whatever, they could do with that if it happened. She just needed a safe place for her to laugh without making an ass of herself.

That alone time was what she needed. She returned a couple of minutes later with water and a calmer expression. "Know I risked my life to save your ass. You think a robot and water goes well? I don't got magic for that."

"Really?" Alby looked up at her in disbelief. Even his phone was waterproofed, he assumed that an extremely advanced AI such as her would've been waterproofed ten times over. "I'm sorry, I wouldn't have asked you if I knew that. Thanks though."

He wanted to write something about keeping her away from water in his book, but the journal was up on his desk and he was still on the floor. That was not going to do, he tried getting up again. This time making it to a sitting position. Still not enough to grab the journal, but getting there. At least he could drink the water now.

In the meantime, he had regained enough strength to return his focus to learning. Quickly resuming with his questioning. Though this time he had a bit more of a request. "Sooo, I showed you my telekinesis, hows about you show me yours?" He'd been itching to see it ever since it was mentioned. He figured that perhaps if their powers were similar, that maybe she could teach him some trick to improving. It was a long shot seeing as how different they were in species, but still worth a try.

"Again. Joking," clarified Nebula. She wasn't annoyed or anything. In fact, she was rather amused. But she didn't want Alby to get into the habit of thinking that he was always in the wrong when talking to her.

Nebula pulled out her cellphone from a pocket in her legs and fiddled with it to turn it on. Then, she aimed it at Alby. Without thinking to ask, she lifted him up and set him gently laying on his bed. All the while she positioned his hand so he wouldn't drop his water, and if he did, she would be there to catch it.

"Whoa!" Alby quickly became amused as he got a free flight to his bed. He wanted to write down how Nebula used a phone and could lift a person with seemingly little effort, but he still didn't have his journal. "That was totally incredible! Do you think you can lift my journal over to me, oh! And my pencil?" Then a new thought hit him before she would even have the chance to start. "Wait! Can you do both at once?" Alby couldn't split his power up into multiple forces, he could only ever get one object going at once. But the possibilities that one would achieve by floating multiple objects were always interesting to him.

After he finished talking. He sat there, still red faced but with much more regulated breathing, and wore a stupidly curious grin.

As requested, Nebula brought his journal and pencil over to him. "Yes, I can do both at once," she replied matter-of-factly.

"I'd show off my telepathy too, but I gotta ask for permission first, soo..." she trailed off, looking at Alby for approval or disapproval.

Alby watched, filled with joy, as the book and writing utensil made their way over to him and perched right at his side. He focused his eyes less on the items and more so on Nebula, trying to decipher how exactly she was doing it so easily. He didn't see anything particularly special aside from the phone. He'd have to try that sometime. "Oh wow, you're good!" He wanted to ask for tips, but was completely distracted by the promise of telepathy.

"Of course, of course! That'd be awesome! Go for it!" His ever growing excitement was getting back to normal, making it clear he was getting better.

"Of course I'm good. I was made to be this good," she said proudly. A robot of her age not being able to control her powers easily would be, frankly, pathetic. It was also a natural thing for her. Something that naturally got stronger as she was upgraded.

With the phone focused on Alby, Nebula went into his mind. Based on how he's been acting, she expected his thoughts to be bouncing around. She got... essentially that. It was confusing, to put it simply. Alby's mind was squealing nonsense.

"Shit, man. You sure are, uh, excited. I thought your body would explode but I think it's just your brain that's about to. Do you have some kind of anti-telepathy thing going on? Is that why all I'm getting is... squealing?"

Alby waited with an extreme sense of anticipation as Nebula appeared to be using her telepathy on him. He just sat there shaking with excitement as she used her phone for this power similarly to the telekinesis. When it was over, he let out an excited squeal that was less intense than the ones in his mind, but still over the top. "Eeee!" This was his first time seeing someone actually use telepathy, and just like she'd promised, it appeared to have worked.

He wrote down notes while answering Nebula. "No, I'm just super excited, this is really really really cool." He sort of wished he'd actually thought of something to focus his thoughts on so that he could be more sure that it was working, but this outcome made it believable enough already.

"You can send people your own thoughts as well, correct?" Alby looked up from his writing curiously. He hadn't written this down yet, but was under the impression that she'd done it when she helped him with his game

That was not an invitation for him to squeal outside of his mind, but if it calmed him down, then it was harmless enough.

"Alright... And no. I think you misunderstood something. Like any pixie of the Perpetual Motion Machine, when summoned, we can whisper advice into someone's mind, and they take it as their own. It's not like what I'm doing now. I can connect myself to most electronics and manipulate them that way. Can't do it with people... unless they're a robot or cyborg? Never tried that before..." Now she got herself distracted on a whole other thing.

"Oh, okay." Upon hearing the clarification, Alby wrote one new point down in his book. "Good to know, thanks for clarifying." It was just a little disappointing, but not a big deal in the big scheme of things. Nebula was already capable of so many things, it didn't really make a difference.

His tone shifted, becoming more serious. "There's one other thing that I'm curious to know if you can do." He looked at her curiously, but this time less excited. "Do you think you could teach me how to improve my telekinesis? I know that your's works at least a little different, but I've come to a bit of a stand still in my progression and am looking for any sort of help?" They'd helped him solve the puzzle game. Improving a supernatural power couldn't be too far off...
