Nebula faked a gasp. "Wow, telling a non-human that she acts human. So disrespectful." She puffed out her cheeks and turned away from Alby.

"You're lucky you're such a determined worker. I may have just fluttered out the window there and then. But yes, I am an AI. My dad from the robotic sect made me by request of my other dad. We're always a couple of steps ahead of humanity so we can give the best advice, and we have magic at our disposal."

Alby was a little surprised by the fact that they really were AI, but also took notice at how Nebula clearly did not like being called human. His mind instantly wondered why. "I'm sorry, I only meant that you don't act like any robot I've ever seen, you can normally tell when something is a robot where I'm from and it's usually emotionless. Though I am curious, why is it so bad to be called human? I've always thought that AI is considered successful for acting human."

Alby noted down how Nebula was created and the fact that they possessed magic. That would certainly be his next question. He was dying to see some.

Nebula tried to play up her anger, but she couldn't. She soon fell into a fit of laughter. "I'm joking! I don't really care. But fair warning, I could see others dislike being called human. Species aren't all interchangeable. Like, I'm not human, I'm a pixie. Dragons shouldn't go around saying everyone acts like one... or lamias being told they act like mermaids. Just say sapient or whatever. You get me?"

Talking to Alby on his shoulder was getting uncomfortable. Nebula realized it may have been uncomfortable for him as well. After jumping off of his shoulder and flying down onto a clear spot of the room, she grew to her full six-foot-one height. Then, she sat down in a criss-cross.

“Oh, a joke.” Though it was useful to learn not to use human the way he had in the past, perhaps that would come in handy later on.

Alby watched as the pixie jumped down and fluttered to an open space, then changed into a different form, much larger. His eyes widened as he dropped all thoughts to become impressed by what he’d just witnessed. “You can change form at will?!” He didn’t write anything down just yet, hoping to learn a bit more before doing that.

“Is this the only other form you can take, or can you do more?” It was a little weird seeing her even taller than him, he’d gotten so used to the smaller form.

"Only my size. If I couldn't, I'd need a human-size charm. I wouldn't be able to do jack shit when I'm so small." She rolled her eyes and huffed in exasperation.

"Anyways, naaah. I can change forms by getting my body parts replaced. It's nothing like the size-changing, though. That's just a thing all the pixies from my court can do."

"Ah, that makes sense." he wondered just how big or small she could get, but the urge to see what other tricks she knew was too great to be overlooked. He jotted down another note then moved onto the next question.

"Soo, do you have any other tricks up your sleeve? Aside from all the incredible stuff so far." A curious grin swept across his face. He'd already seen so much in such a short time, but he was greedy. Seeing a lot wasn't enough, he wanted to see everything. He could go on asking questions for days if nobody stopped him, he lived for moments like this.

"Other cool tricks?" Nebula tilted her head and put a hand to her chin. "Aha, that's difficult. Everything I have feels so natural. I should think about what humans can't do that I can do." This was more to herself than Alby. Whenever she was asked about her powers, she found it difficult to pick one. Humans seemed to be the baseline here, so she always had to compare herself to them.

"I'm a robot, soooo I can do robot-y stuff. I have my own wifi channel, I'm connected to the internet, and my hair and tail are USB cables and jack plugs. Oh! I also have telepathy and telekinesis, but only through technology." She paused for a couple of seconds as a smirk came to her face. "You're asking me all these questions... What tricks do you have up your sleeve?"

"Whoa ho ho" Alby let out an amused laugh as he received more than he expected in response to his question. He wrote each ability down carefully but quickly, taking another read through when he was finished. He was wondering about the hair, but he really didn't expect that it was actually a bunch of functional cables. The wifi part must have also been extremely handy. And then the telepathy which he'd learned earlier and telekinesis? Telekinesis was particularly interesting to him, he'd have to ask her more about that one.

He was surprised when the pixie questioned him back. Though he had no problem with it, after all, she'd been answering his questions so kindly, it was only fair that he did the same. "Well, I suppose I can show you."

Alby walked over and stood right in front of his desk, facing the spoon lying on the corner. "Stay put, I don't want you to get hurt by mistake." He didn't exactly have a lot of juice left in the tank, but he figured he could still put on somewhat of a show.

He took a deep breath in, then out, and assumed a readied stance. He held both hands out, bending his fingers at the ends. He then made faint struggling noises as his eyes slowly came to a white glow and a green light surrounded the spoon. He dug his feet into the ground as the noises got louder and the spoon began to levitate. Slowly it began to get higher, until it got to eye level with Alby. At this point, the glow left both his eyes and the spoon, and the boy collapsed on the ground. The time the spoon hovered came in somewhere around 25 seconds in total. Not his best, seeing as how he was already tired.

He stayed on the ground panting afterwards, far too weak to get up. Then turned his eyes upward to Nebula. "Ta... Da..."

Nebula enjoyed being the center of attention. It was like she was being interviewed. Watching Alby try to list down everything she said so quickly was entertaining as well.

But it was about time Nebula saw what Alby could do. Based on his words, it was going to be something interesting. Dangerous, even. She stayed put, watching him attentively in case she needed to dodge. Was he going to actually explode? No no, that would get him in trouble with his dorm parent. Then was it going to be colorful? Like light manipulation where it may blind someone if used wrong?

No. It was just shitty telekinesis. The build-up made the outcome painfully disappointing. So painful, Alby dropped to the ground like a sack of potatoes.

It took all of Nebula's power to not fall into a fit of laughter. This boy was being so nice to her. She couldn't be a jackass now.

"W-Wow. That was, uh, impressive. You need some water or... uh... a nurse? Looks like all that hard work took a lot outta you," she said in between restrained snickers. Not content to hold back all her semi-sarcastic comments, she let one more out, "I think the one who actually needed to be warned as you, man."

Alby was glad they were impressed, it was reassuring that people still found his special trick cool despite what they were capable of themselves. In his totally drained state, none of the sarcasm hit home, flying over his head which was currently stuck to the floor.

"Heh, don't worry, it's okay. This has happened before, I just pushed myself a little too far." He felt faint bits of strength return to his body, taking advantage of it to lift himself up with his arm, only to flop back down immediately with a quiet thud. "ow."

His breathing was still heavy, and as he managed to flip himself onto his back, his face was revealed to be beet red. It looked like he'd just finished running a day long marathon. "actually, some water might be nice." He was clearly a little out of it. He wanted to keep asking more questions, but he couldn't even gather the energy to stand up.
