“Oh, come on. A little bit of burn damage never hurt anybody permanently.” Gods, she wasn’t here to be moral and careful, she was here to make money. Whoever heard of a kid-friendly potion store, anyways?

Relocation potions? Those were a pain in the ass to make. They wouldn’t take anything mind-altering, and heck, if they wanted tranquilizers, there were plenty of those in like a hunting store or something, weren’t there? “Look, you’re making things too complicated.” She sighed, waving them off. “I’m not even part of your little fight crew! Look, just toss me a couple hundred or something, I’ll mail you a box of poison, and you can literally knock yourself out. With how wimpy your battle seems to be, you might even be able to get use of like, a flower-growth potion or something, so I’m sure you’ll work it out.”

<div align=center>The more he thought of it the more Oliver felt as though it would be impossible to find exactly what they were looking for. Plus he didn't want to stress out the lady more than she needed. Orion did have a good idea going, but it seemed Bell didn't seem all that interested. Understandable. After all, teleportation wasn't even possible by science. It must have been hard with magic.

Oliver bit his lip as he contemplated what they could do. Though she was most likely fooling, it didn't seem like such a bad idea to throw a grand at her and hope for the best. He had the money for it, anyway. Or at least he did last time he checked. ”Oh, well, sorry if we're troubling you ma'am.” Oliver muttered, looking down a bit. ”I guess we're just looking out for this whole thing's best interests... There's just a lot to consider with all these people attending...” Just how many were? He didn't even know. He just was going along for the ride. And have an excuse to wear pretty dresses.

”What do you think we should do, sir?” Oliver then asked Orion, hoping the elder had more of an idea. Overstaying their welcome wasn't something he particularly wanted to do today. Especially in a place that had things lined on the walls that could kill them. ”Poison might be a good idea...” He thought aloud more than anything, still looking to the ground. </div>

"I-I think Miss Bell's proposal sounds nice. A box of assorted potions and poisons could probably handle our needs, and any other unforeseen circumstances."

Oliver's downward expression did not go unnoticed by Orion. The poor girl was feeling some of the intimidation he felt, rarely, when conversing with Bell. The potion maker was firm and assertive, often to the point of almost being belligerent. Her confidence in her own knowledge of potions frequently butted heads with the general ignorance of others, including himself, and that was where the tension came from.

Still, Orion rubbed the girl's back to try and pick her spirits back up before walking up to Bell and leaning in close to her, so they could talk a little quietly among the two of them.

"Be a little nicer on the poor girl, honey~ She's just trying to have a little fun. For me?"

He attempted to give Bell an innocent little smile.

"Just try not to include anything too fatal in the batch? I mean, she's paying good money for it all. And I'll even throw in some extra incentives. Y'know. Personal favors."

The innocent smile morphed into a cheeky smirk that Bell would be very well familiar with at that point.

I guess I’m not really bothered,” Bell huffed. “I just don’t usually keep the most kid-friendly stuff on hand, so it’s hard for me to deal. Though now it’s starting to sound like you’re going to a ball or something, gods.” The girl had this really formal way of talking that she didn’t know how to handle. It made her just feel all huffy for some reason.

Which was why it was good Orion covered for the nervous little thing. “Alright. If that’s set, we’re set. Sounds good. Depending on how much you give me I might even label everything all nice and proper.” Her whole stance relaxed now that a business transaction had been established. “I don’t have a credit card or anything fancy like that, so if you don’t have cash on you you can come back another time, yadayadayada.”

When Orion came over to her, she raised an eyebrow. “What? I’m plenty nice.” What was wrong with the way she was talking? The girl was making things too complicated, so she just decomplicated things. “Oh. Well. I mean, of course I’m not gonna let any of them kill each other, that would be – kind of bad. And – pfffft. It’s hardly a favour if you want to do it.” Still, she hadn’t said no.

“So how’s it going to be, kid?” She looked back over to the girl.

<div align=center>Glad he agreed, Oliver felt relieved that at least it wasn't a terrible idea. Maybe he had overreacted a little, or at least got more anxious faster than usual. But hey, that was him. He always was anxious. Now that he had variety however there was a chance he could hand out something good and not completely deadly. Hopefully. He felt a bit reassured by Orion's kindness, and hoped that the two could work something out so he'd know when to throw out the money on the table. It wasn't really an object for him as he did have decent economic backgrounds. He still prayed however that this wouldn't cost him too much.

Bell anyway seemed like a reasonable person. Oliver still felt guilty for causing confusion and trouble, and hoped what he offered in return would be enough to settle everything. But at least they had an exchange going right now. ”It sort of feels like that right now, haha...” He muttered lightly in response to her stating that this seemed to be more of a fancy escapade than a war. And it was. Honestly he wasn't sure what was happening with everything or why Bill was doing this. But he was a nice guy, and Oliver hadn't been one to play games as a child. He supposed he was taking a rain check for that by doing one of the most outlandish games possible. And his wallet was screaming from it. His mind snapped out of this thinking after the two had discussed things privately, figuring he really wasn't supposed to listen anyway. He smiled softly back up at the potion lady, getting out his wallet from a cute little shoulder bag to his side. ”Ah, well Miss, how much would you like for it all? I don't wish to underpay you, so I'd be more than willing to give you the price you want. And more.” For her troubles, really. He looked through his money, quite full for a kid his age. It wasn't the smartest idea either for him to be carrying so much cash for being in a shady part of the city. But he wasn't dead or robbed yet, which was good. ”I have a little over a grand and a half on me right now. I can go get more if you wish, but does that sound fair to you?” For rare potions perhaps it would cost more. He hoped not, though. ”I hope there's an ATM around here if not...” He muttered a little to himself, thinking aloud a bit. If he had to go outside again he hoped that Orion would be willing to attend with him. Next time he probably wouldn't be so lucky walking around alone and not being mugged. And he would hate to have to shift and tear his new dress to fend off enemies. ”Oh, but is there anything else by the way I can pay you with besides cash? I will try to make it happen if this is not enough." </div>
