William needs ships and by ships I mean more people to torture him. There are maybe three ways this could go, but I'm open to other suggestions.
1. A simple parasitic relationship. If there was someone who could feed off William somehow and he could feed off them, it may be interesting. Turns out killing immortals does nothing to help his cravings, although it technically is effective. Maria would definitely come in to ruin things if the relationship looked like a positive one.
3. Bad influence/corruptive ship. The doctor is not a predator at the moment. He needs people who will lead him astray somehow. Encourage him to kill for fun, break down his resistance. Maybe seduce him. Or be more subtle in the psychological torture than Maria. Possibly introduce him to dark magic somehow. Pretend they're helping him, but really be using him.

2. Purely physical relationship. William does feel lust and may give in to it if it's with someone he can't drain. He's also at least partially physically masochistic and intensely curious about the abilities of the other creatures on the island. He'd be wary of psychological torture, Maria's enough of that, but otherwise fairly open.
