Her appearance is very similar to that of her mothers. she has 6 ruby colored eyes, purple hair, and razor-sharp teeth. Like her mother, her lower half is that of a colossal spider. She has eight long slender legs, as well as a large abdomen, and armored thorax. her arms covered not in skin, but in the same exoskeleton that protects her spider's body, leaving her fingers very sharp.

for clothing, Phaedra will often wear a simple shirt and skirt combination. She also keeps on wearing sleeves to keep the sharp edges of her arms and fingers contained.

Phaedra does have a second human form, which is very similar to her spider form, except she has two long slender black legs and a shapely figure.

Personality Description:

Phaedra's personality has shifted rather sharply since her disappearance from the island all those months ago. Where once she was calm and cool, she is now erratic and afraid. Her predatory instincts have been beaten into near nothingness, leaving her little more than the scared little girl who once hid from an attacker in her mothers home.

Nowadays Phaedra is rather timid. Her time in captivity and the abuse she suffered has broken her in many ways. She is constantly afraid that her mother will return to take her back. This fear is so profound that if she unexpectantly catches sight of herself in a reflective surface she will become uncomfortable or scared. Even the sounds her body makes when she moves is enough to wake her up with fear.

Phaedra hasn't had much time to readjust since her escape and as such has had little time to figure out what she likes or wants in life anymore. She does prefer quiet, less hectic environments, as well as keeping to herself. She is currently riddled with fear and anxiety and will need to take great lengths to overcome this.

Skills:

Sewing/Knitting/Weaving
Phaedra is like her mother in the fact that she is a skilled seamstress. Though she is by no means anywhere near her mother's skill, or even near the skill of other professionals, It is worth noting that she is still very gifted in this art.

Stealth
As adorable as Phaedra is, she is still a predator by nature. That being said she is swiftly becoming a master of stealth and ambush tactics. It should be noted that if you can't see her she is probably sneaking up on you.

Species Abilities:

Immortality/Regeneration
Like other higher class Demons, Phaedra is effectively immortal. At least to an extent. She cannot be permanently killed by traditional means. Most normal wounds will heal with time, and at a greater than a normal human. However, to put her down properly would take either the power's of another higher class Demon or Angel or a Relic of pure Holy Energy. Cuts and flesh wounds heal within a day or so. Broken bones will heal within a week. If she is killed by drowning, or something to that effect she will respawn back in hell and return to earth shortly thereafter.

Demon/Human Forms
Like many Higher Demons, Phaedra possesses two forms. One is a nearly human appearance with only a few noticeable deviations from the appearance of a normal human. The other is a much more grand Demon form, which is also her preferred form. She has not made the transformation yet, and so far has no intentions of trying.

Webs
Being an Arachne Demon grants a few unique abilities not found in other demons. One of which is the ability to spin webs. Phaedra is able to spin two types of threading from her spinnerets. The first is a simple threading that can be used for pretty much anything, from making fabrics, or even making hammocks and swings. The second type of threads are infused with a strong glue like substance making them better for catching prey. All of her webs are pound for pound 5x stronger than steel (Actual Real world Spider Fact) allowing them to take a great deal of punishment and handle a great deal of strain before they snap. They are also highly elastic, allowing them to stretch and conform before actually tearing. Despite their strength, the webs can be cut, and she herself will often use her sharp fingertips to cut strands.

Wall Climbing
The second ability that Arachne Demons have down to a science is their ability to climb almost any and all surfaces by use of their many legs. Indeed just like a spider they can climb up walls, and walk on ceilings. She cannot walk on smooth surfaces like glass.

Speed and Strength
Phaedra is stronger and faster than the average human, though it seems that this is only in her demonic form. With the benefit of her many legs she is able to move at twice the speed of the average human, and carry up to about 400 pounds (With difficulty). In her human form, she is as strong or fast as an average child of her size and weight who works out regularly.

Weaknesses:

Caffeine
Simply put Caffeine is a highly intoxicating substance for Arachne Demons. Just a few cups is the equivalent of a normal person drinking an entire bottle of liquor. Even a single small double double impairs her judgment and makes her rather tipsy. While intoxicated she becomes a great deal friendlier and is a lot less likely to eat anyone. She does however greatly enjoy Starbucks and will indulge herself if she sees fit.

Water/Steam
Phaedra will not enter deep water. Simply put her legs are not equipped to swim and she will drown. Her rule of thumb is that if she can't touch the ground then its a no go. Prey have tried to exploit this in the past, resulting her using her webbing to go fishing. Steam is also a problem for her as it makes it difficult to breathe. She can handle small amounts of steam so long as there is an active breeze or some form of air circulation, but you won't find her in a sauna anytime soon.

Cold Temperatures
While she is not considered to be cold blooded it should be noted that she is unable to live or thrive in cold environments. As temperatures drop so too does her ability to function properly. The initial effects of temperature drops are not unlike being intoxicated. She will suffer slurred speech, blurry vision, and decreased cognitive capability. Eventually, if temperatures continue to lower she will slip into a hibernation-like state.

Size
Phaedra prefers to stay in her large demonic form. This means that moving around in a human sized world is a little more difficult for her. it's not to say she is worried about getting in peoples way, knocking things over, or even intimidating other with her size, but it does happen and can be an inconvenience at times.

Holy Relics
Phaedra is a pureblood demon. Her mother was the Demon Prince of Lust first daughter, and her grandmother was a high ranking soldier Demon. That being said she is greatly affected by items of a holy nature. Things such as holy water, or crucifix's cause her great discomfort, not just on a physical level but on a spiritual level as well. She cannot willingly enter churches of the Christian or Catholic faiths. If someone were to place a cross around her neck she would be rendered catatonic until such a time as it was removed. Holy water causes burns to her skin. And weapons blessed by the angels can kill her for good.

Biography:

Phaedra was born 1 of exactly 1000 others. While her 999 siblings all had separate father's or father like people, she was the only child born only of her mother. This, of course, means that she is genetically identical to her single parent. the first 4 days or so of Phaedra's life were that of chaos and anarchy. Within the walls of the egg sack that protected the spiderlings, a battle rages on weeding out the weaker offspring from the more potent ones. When the battle had completed, Phaedra was one of four tennis ball sized babies to emerge alive and victorious.

In the early months of 2018, Phaedra uncovered her mother's plot to leave the island. Her mother had become restless, tired of the domestic life, and planned to escape back to the lower reaches of hell where she might kill and act as she pleased again. Young Phaedra wanted to confront her mother, to stop her, make her see reason, but the older spider refused to listen. That night a fight broke out between the spiders and Phaedra was dragged to hell as a prisoner of her mother.

For the next 8 months, Phaedra was tortured by her mother who now seemed to be driven mad by her insatiable lusts. She suffered deeply until she managed to escape in the early days of November. She has since returned to Manta Carlos to tell her sisters what happened.
