Ian looked around an dnoticed a sort of trail or something that led off into the wilderness, farther than they were now. "We can follow that." said Ian pointing to a opening in the trees where the trail began.
"Ok. I feel like a detective. I always wanted to be one like on CSI or something." Kacey said following the trail. "Detective Kacey and Ian. Yeah I like how that sounds."
Ian laughed, "You watch CSI? I do too!" Ian looked up itno the trees as they began walking down the trail. The sun was out now, and it was shining through the tops of the trees.
"My nanny liked the show she got me hooked really. She brought me all the DVDs." Kacey said thinking about her, "I know I must seem like some loser little kid since I still have a nanny and all but she was my only friend." Kacey said was a shrug.
"Don't talk like that.' said ian, "You don't seem like a loser little kid." said Ian, "You would never seem like that to me.' he said with a smile, "I haven't had many friends either. They were all guys, and the few who I was friends with, didn't like me that much." Ian shrugged.
"Hm, that must have really sucked." said ian thinking of some way he could cheer her up a little bit. He couldn't think of anything to say to make her feel better.
"Yeah well, I never really knew there was another world outside of the manor's grounds. So most of the time I was really happy there, lonely but happy." Kacey explained.
"Oh," said ian looking at the ground as they walked. For some reason, he was at a loss of words and couldn't think of anything to say in response to that. Not wanting to have no responce, ian took a deep breath and held Kacey's hand as they walked, blushing a little bit at first.
