Peace and Quiet

Ian smiled as he walked slwoly to let his eyes adjust, "I don't think so." said Ian, "But I think keeping your eyes open would help a little, that way when we get to the end you will have a slight idea of what you are looking at." Ian continued to hold her hand.

"Fine..." Kacey said slowly opening up her eyes, and only looked straight ahead and no where else. Kacey held his hand tightly. "This isn't so bad..." She said.

Ian smiled even though he knew she wouldn't be able to tell that he was. "yeah, once you get used to the dark it can be okay." said ian as he walked a little father and felt his hand his against a wall of some sort. He felt the wall for a second and turned to Kacey, "Guess what.." he said as he took her other and and put her two hands together. ian smiled as he placed a chunk of the crystals which had fallen from the wall into her hands.

"You found some!" Kacey said happily. "Hey you have better luck then I do no fair. Here there yours you found them." Kacey said putting them back in his hand.

"No." said ian, "I want you to have them." he put them back into her hand and placed her other hand ontop of it.

"Thank you." She said. Taking one and putting it in his hand. "Now you have something to remember me by." Kacey said, "And I have something to remember you by." She said putting the other one in her pocket.

Ian smiled as he put the crystal into his pocket and started to walk back to the part of the cavern where he could see.

Kacey walked out with him. "Now aren't you glad you came here today." She said. "There lots more to explore at this school and I‘m going to share all my findings with you." Kacey said.

"Yes I am." said Ian, "yeah there are a lot of places I haven't been to yet." he looked out of the cave at a squirrel perced on a rock near the shore.

"Now where else should we explore?" Kacey asked, wondering what was next. There was so many weird interesting places.
