He shrugged. "I dunno. Just thought..." Nicolas shook his head, and looked around with shifty eyes before sighing. "I'm lost, ok?"
He had come here to get away, and everytime something had come along, animal or human he had run so far away he had just gotten lost and confused by now.

Tora smiled. "Why didn't you just say so?" She pointed off in the distance. "The academy is that way."
Nicolas nodded. "Ok. Do you want to come?" he asked. He was actually just the tinniest bit scared of some animal coming and ripping him to shreds. It was always better to get ripped to shreds with someone else, and since she was there.... well why not?
Tora shrugged. "Wanna go, Xar?"
"I think he's asking you, Tor, not me."
"Oh." She looked at Nicolas and nodded. "Sure."

"Oh. Well, I've been here most of the day. I haven't done much. Just walked around and enjoyed the quiet." She paused and smiled. "And I've been at the academy for coming upon a month now." Turning her head to look at his profile. "What about you?"
