 Paisley is a small, fluffy black kitten with large, bright blue eyes. She's tiny and still at that age in her life where she waddles around, semi-uncoordinated with her fur all in a poof. Because she has deemed the brush her ultimate enemy, her fur tends to be on the wild side, but when she's angry she'll give herself a good grooming. “Human beings are drawn to cats because they are all we are not — self-contained, elegant in everything they do, relaxed, assured, glad of company, yet still possessing secret lives.”

 Paisley is adventurous and playful, often getting into trouble and going where she knows she isn't meant to. She is capricious, as most cats are, and will love on Landon just as quickly as she will snub him for something more interesting. With all that said, she's still a daddy's girl and when Landon has been gone for too long (read: any period of time) she will cry incessantly until he returns. “It is a curious truth that many cats enjoy warmer, more convivial, even affectionate relationships with humans than they could ever do with fellow felines.”

 Born in the Manta Carlos pet's adoption center, Paisley and her siblings were snatched up rather quickly. Landon had been lonely and planned on getting a dog, or some other pet for his place when Paisley caught his attention. After asking to hold her and she cuddled up to the crook of his neck, Landon knew he couldn't leave her there. They have been inseparable ever since. |
