Riina

Iris, hmm.. The name rang in her head, while watching the Jaya utter some words to the groggy guy.

....OH. The winged girl this guy did a number on! She drops her fist into her other palm as she comes up with this conclusion. Poor girl though.

You have another place out in town or something? Classes have been up for a while, and if this is only your first time here then... ah, well, whatever. Let someone else do the thinking.

"Well, yes. I bought my own apartment which is probably the closest to the academy. Oh! I know, uhm.. Is it okay for you to give me a short tour around this place?", she points to the guy, "Maybe he can come too? Uhm, you know, if it's not too much trouble for you guys. And I haven't even gotten your name yet." She reaches her hand to the guy. "I'm Riina, I believe you're a Fine arts major too?" And again, a warm smile follows, enough to make someone's heart beat rise.

Riina was that kind of person who liked doing handshakes when she meets new people, it emanates a kind of feeling that gives her an intuition to what kind of person they are. She isn't someone who gets the flow of the mood that easily unlike other people, so she sort of gambles on that.

Sky paused for a bit before reaching out to shake her hand. When his gaze landed on her face, he paled as could have sworn for a split-second he saw a glimmering image of an ethereal angel. He saw the environment warp and spin for awhile before returning back to normal.

Sky suddenly spoke as his drowsiness disappeared.
"I uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, wait, you're fine arts too? Zoooooooooom"
Sky scooted over towards Riina to give her head pats.

"As for the tour, that would be fine, if it's fine for her too."
Sky said while glancing over at Jaya.

"You see, recently, I've been having issues with people and my not so wonderful penchant for accidentally attracting disasters. I also have to find a specific blazer for that someone." he grumbled.

He looked over at Riina once more swore that his heart skips a beat every time. It would be a bummer to miss the opportunity to hang out with this cute girl he thought.

Again. There was so much going on that it was almost awkward to be in the middle of things. This Sky person was almost too transparent. Just by looking at him and Riina, Jaya could see very clearly that they were entirely different people. For one, if it were her that liked someone, that thing with the hand wouldn't be a pat.

For another, she would have introduced herself as soon as she asked.

"Hey. Guy. She asked for your name. You just - she asked for your name, trottel. I'm Jaya by the way... call me whatever you like - but if you're going to insult me don't do it while I'm turned around. So. A tour?" She clapped her hands and stood up, fixing her shirt a little and beaming.

Before she got around to showing them around, Jaya leaned in closer to Sky and whispered in his ear a little something. "Hey. Grow a pair. Kiss her. Pretend I used mysterious powers and made you do it. No one here knows what I can actually do."

Once again she laughed and pointed to the left. "If you look to your left you'll see stuff. Seriously. Where do you guys want to check anyway? I can't tour you around if you don't say where I should go."

She was glad that the both of them agreed on giving her a tour of the place. For the past years, she had never even stepped a foot inside this building until now. She always wondered how life inside the dormitory was, but she needed work and an apartment a few blocks away from the dorms was the only option.

"Hmm, how about the rooftops first?" she said to Jaya. "I.. overheard someone that people had a little drinking spree there one time, or was it the school proper's rooftop? Anyway, can we start there?"

After telling Jaya the instructions, she moved towards Sky.

"I haven't met anyone who pats people's heads right after introductions." she said with a smug look.

She leans forward to his ears and whispered, "Oh, and just so you know, I have the same blazer that you're looking for. And I don't really use it that much so it can pass as brand new, come with me later if you want it ok? Tee hee~" She leans back and nods at Jaya signaling to start the tour.

Oh wow, that was... pretty bold of me. Well, he is kinda cute, I wonder why, she thought.

Sky

[sub]squeee~[/sub]

Sky couldn't help from squealing a little as he felt her warm breath tingle his ears and neck.
Teehee~
The cutest giggle he has ever heard, combined with a charming face made his mind lag for a moment.
Remembering the mention of the blazer however, he instantly perked up.
"You really do?! That would help me big time, really. I'll go visit right after the tour."
The innocent Sky readily agreed without knowing the implications of the girl.

He then stood up to get ready for the tour, but he didn't notice his sneaker lace getting stuck underneath the sofa. He then ungraciously tripped over to Riina and accidentally planting a kiss near her lips.

*UMmmmphf*
His eyes widened with realization as he processed what just happened.

"I am dead." Sky thought to himself while contemplating his life luck.

"Accident. Yeah. Seems about right. Sure. Accident. You know, next time, fucking do it on purpose. Or if you did that on purpose at least be brave enough to own up to it."

As someone who lived without luck and gave plenty of it away, Jaya was only slightly bothered - okay, highly bothered by the turn of events. It wasn't any fun seeing something like this develop through simple coincidence. She'd always firmly believed that getting something one wanted was a matter of actively seeking it out, not tripping into it blindly like a fool. Even other people she met who asked for luck and ended up in similar situations worked for that luck - by seeking her out, or setting up the situation, or some other thing.

Maybe tripping was fine, but at the very least he could've articulated something better afterward than subhuman noise. Seriously. At least some of the other people she'd seen do similar things mustered up enough coherence to apologize, or say something. Anything.

And he couldn't be any more spineless than she'd have guessed or liked! At first, Jaya held some sort of interest in the kind of person who could manage to anger one of the most patient people she knew, but all of that went down the drain almost instantly.

Well, no tricycle ride, she thought to herself. Doesn't look like it's even possible.

"When you're done tripping over yourself for no goddamn reason and want to go visit the rooftops, let me know. Or - screw that, let's start walking. Maybe then tripping would make sense. Let's walk. Stairs are this way - hang on, you dorm here, guy - maybe you want to lead? Take her to the roof or something? Don't worry, if you manage to fall down the stairs I'll catch you, but if it's off the railings I'll probably just be really impressed at how you manage to fuck up so badly."

Neverlucker(?)

Sky was still reeling from the apparent accident when the tomboyish girl suddenly gave him flak. Every word that came out of her reminded him of the sting from his encounter with Iris.
"No I'm not having this shit again." he thought.
He finally vented.
"Woah easy there. It's really not like I meant it or anything. Yeah maybe it's my fault for standing up too fast. But heck, it is an accident. Jeez, I am already starting to hate that word. Anyway I'm trying to get a break from these kind of reactions from people. And if you think that I think that these happenings are funny, I shit you not it is annoying the fuck out of me as well. Give me a break please? A crap ton of cafeteria regulars are pissed at me and I don't need another one."

A visibly irritated Sky straightened up and immediately pointed towards the staircase.

"Anyway, yes, I still remember the way to the rooftop even though that Teddy made me a little spinny from phasing everywhere going towards it."
He began briskly walking towards it while motioning for the two to come along.

i know we broke sequence but it makes sense

"Did you just really fucking snap at me?" Jaya asked, leaning forward, forehead furrowed and eyes glaring. She was tense, and her voice was raised. Her shoulders were stiff and her arm was slightly extended, as if readying for something.

Then all the tension went away somewhere else, ceasing to exist entirely. "It's about goddamn time you fucking spoke up, schweinhund! Do you know how fucking frustrating it is to watch someone just stumble about and just take everything? You won't ever be relevant to the goddamn universe if you don't goddamn do something yourself. Take a risk or something. Anything. Just don't stand around doing nothing and being sad cause you're unlucky. I catch you doing that, I will either punch you or make sure your luck gets way, way worse. Okay, let's move."

There were apologies owed. Jaya patted Sky on the back - with a lot of force, probably enough to send him barreling over but if he were any good he wouldn't be affected - and then whispered to Riina before following up the stairs. "Sorry you had to see that. Like I said, I hate it when people just take things as they come and don't do anything about them. Maybe you're okay with that, maybe you're not - but I'm not going to be so polite that I stop being myself."

Riina

Riina just watched as the two lashed out at each other. She wanted to get in between them and say something along the lines of Hey guys chill, it's okay we're not in elementary, but she just chose to clam up, and it seemed to be the right decision as they immediately stopped and apologized to each other. Still, she was amazed how Sky could even pull that off, it's like it came out from a harem manga niche. If it was some other girl, Sky's face would probably have a red mark from a slap--or even a punch. This is turning out to be quite a day, she thought.

As she notices Sky signaling, she followed diligently.

Hearing Jaya, she replied. "It's totally fine, kinda scary but fine, I'm actually kind of glad that you said those words to him. Well, other than fact that he planted some kind of idiotic kiss on my face, this guy really needs an attitude adjustment when it comes to facing his 'luck' or whatever. I watched the whole scene at the cafeteria, and if it wasn't for that monotone-fashioned girl she was talking to, this Iris person would've probably nailed him. Anyway, being real is good. I wish I could be like you." She nods off to Jaya and walks off following Sky.

While walking up the stairs, she couldn't help but notice the obvious mood, and she honestly wanted to do something about it, but similarly when the two bickered, she couldn't utter a word.

Chayote Drunkard reminisces.

Sky went through the halls, remembering where the glowing blue guy led him, while trying not to get nauseated from the memories of the guy's phasing in and out of walls. He occasionally looked behind him to ensure that he wasn't being too fast or slow. After a few moments of silence and walking, they finally reached the top of the staircase, where he then opened the access door and made way for the two.
Outside the door was the area Sky vaguely remembered, minus all those assortment of drink bottles and that enigmatic box.

"Here we are. The view's pretty good, and you can see most of the campus area from here. Also the first time I got here, is because I got invited over to a free drinks session. Can't exactly remember the details."

He then walked over near the edge of the roof, half expecting something to pop up. After slightly examining the area, he sighed inaudibly, and sat down on a corner. Too much ridicule happened here while he was under the influence of chayotes. He looked over at the two, then gave them a small wave and said:
"Let me know if you're done looking. Also, Jaya, I'll be giving you the honors of picking the next place. I don't really go out that much that I know most of the interesting areas."
