Caissa had spent the past several weeks working on this plan. Followed her target as much as she could. Gathered information and talked to people. It wasn't hard to get some basic intel. It was called Vapor. It was clearly a criminal. It was made of smoke and possibly fire? But most importantly, it had been one of the pets of one Eroshay Rosales. And that bit of information was what was most useful for Caissa's purposes.
Rumors were easy enough to start up. The Rosales were on the move. Klaus and Vito were back. The rumors didn't give much information, but that was the appeal wasn't it? Tickle the underground's balls a little, get them chattering. Eventually those rumors would reach the target. And it would hear the name and come looking.
It would only take a cursory investigation for Vapor to find its way to the warehouse she had set up. Most of the windows were caulked shut and the doors had rubber screwed to the bottom to drag against the floor. It wasn't air tight, but it was close enough for her purposes.
Caissa sat in a chair, just outside of the light of the single lamp she had turned on. Her face was obscured by a simple particulate mask with tinted goggles and a black hoodie. The mask wouldn't stop her from inhaling smoke but it would lessen the effects. The sprinkler system was set up. All she had to do was wait.
