Caissa had spent the past several weeks working on this plan. Followed her target as much as she could. Gathered information and talked to people. It wasn't hard to get some basic intel. It was called Vapor. It was clearly a criminal. It was made of smoke and possibly fire? But most importantly, it had been one of the pets of one Eroshay Rosales. And that bit of information was what was most useful for Caissa's purposes.

Rumors were easy enough to start up. The Rosales were on the move. Klaus and Vito were back. The rumors didn't give much information, but that was the appeal wasn't it? Tickle the underground's balls a little, get them chattering. Eventually those rumors would reach the target. And it would hear the name and come looking.

It would only take a cursory investigation for Vapor to find its way to the warehouse she had set up. Most of the windows were caulked shut and the doors had rubber screwed to the bottom to drag against the floor. It wasn't air tight, but it was close enough for her purposes.

Caissa sat in a chair, just outside of the light of the single lamp she had turned on. Her face was obscured by a simple particulate mask with tinted goggles and a black hoodie. The mask wouldn't stop her from inhaling smoke but it would lessen the effects. The sprinkler system was set up. All she had to do was wait.

Vapor had not been up to much honestly, anyone it had considered fun or interesting or fun had left or vanished, whatever it is that happened to the meat creatures of this island when they were no longer here. It had tried to socialize with others but in all honesty every such effort had left it rather bored and unfulfilled. When the rumours that the Rosales were back it piqued it's interest enough to look into it, what else had it to do these days after all?

It followed the trail that had been laid out for it but part of the way through it realized that something was amiss. Many rumours were floating about but very little actual information, almost like this was something tailored to draw someone or something in. Was it the intended target? Who knew! It couldn't wait to find out though because FINALLY something interesting was happening again!

The path of crumbs led it to a building, a storage facility of some sort, and it approached. When it entered it was anything but cautious, it stormed in without even bothering to look to see what had been set up. Whoever was here would know that it had come. As it strode boldly into the room it took a cursory glance about, not much here though. Possibly those fire prevention devices that most older buildings had, and something set up further in.

In the center of the room there was a single light set up, and just behind this was a person. One who was obviously trying to hide who they were but a person none the less. Hopefully whatever it had stumbled upon would be a fun bit of entertainment, at least for a little while. It couldn't help but laugh!

“OooOOoooo!” it hissed after the laughter had died down. “How overly dramatic! I approve! Now the question above all others is was this all set up for one such as myself, or have I stumbled upon something entirely by accident?!”

Caissa couldn't help but smirk behind her mask as Vapor walked into her trap. So confident. So arrogant. Like nothing could touch it. But she was confident as well, and if things went her way she won no matter what. Shifting position so that her feet were apart, slouching in her seat with her legs spread, she gave an overly dramatic shrug.

"I guess that all depends on your point of view," she said, projecting her voice the way she had learned to back in debate club. It echoed all over the medium sized room, louder than was actually necessary to let Vapor hear her. "What matters is that you're here now."

The door Vapor had come through abruptly shut behind it, only having remained open on a magnetic lock that disengaged with the press of a button in Caissa's hand. She stood up, stretching her arms over her head and starting to walk around the circle that the light in the ceiling made on the floor. She never took her eyes off of the smoke monster though, not for a second. A second button turned on the modified wi-fi router in the ceiling that jammed cell phone signals and GPS units. Not that she assumed it had either of those things on itself. Better safe than sorry though, right?

"To start off, you're going to stay here and listen to what I have to say. Yeah? I have seven different fire suppression systems set up in this room alone. I'm prepared to flood out this entire building if I have to. So don't make me have to."

"I don't like you, Vapor von Rauch. You reek of criminality and vice. Don't mistake, I'm not some goody-two-shoes wannabe hero. I just think, well, an island of the exceptional needs exceptional criminals. And you, unfortunately, haven't really made the cut. But don't worry. I am a benevolent patron, when it strikes my fancy. I believe any run of the mill douche bag who thinks he's the next Butcher can be molded into something truly awful."

She paused, her thumb hovering covertly over the button that would flood the entire room with water and fire suppression powder. If he made a move, she'd kill him without hesitation. "Any questions so far, sweetheart?"

When the door slammed behing it Vapor started to remember a time not too long ago, a time it had messed up and had been exiled to this island. Here were it had done as it pleased and had gotten away with it the smoke monster had possible become arrogant, which lead it getting caught in this trap.

As the meat create prattled it's words the monster only half paid attention, it's eyes more focused on the room now then it had before. Little details like the sprinklers and the remote in this other creatures hand would be important. It was about to brush everything off until a remark had been made, something along the lines of it had been found lacking or the such. First it was angry but then it calmed a little, enough that it could put on a silky smooth voice if needed. Whoever this was had gone through a lot of trouble and now unfortunately this person now had his full attention. It continued to listen, tapping a finger against it's chin silently until the other had stopped making its' sounds.

"Questions? Oh I have plenty" it said as it tilted it's head to the side. "Do you think you are the first to do this to me? Do you think you will be the last? Maybe you will meet the same fate as most have, or maybe you think you will be lucky as few have?"

It gave off a slight shrug and made a show of stretching out and yawning.

"Either way you went through a lot to get me here so, for now, I will listen." It paused for a moment before continuing. "At least until I get bored."

"Oh I know for a fact that I can kill you without even trying, Vapor von Rauch. I've taken dozens of precautions to make sure that if you fuck with me you won't make it out of here alive. I may not be the first to try and kill you, but I absolutely will be the last if you piss me off too much."

Caissa repositioned herself in her seat, holding her thumb over one of the switches on her handmade remote. He thought that he was in control here, obviously. He thought that he could ignore her. Well she'd just have to show him then. With a press of one of the buttons, sprinklers along the ceiling released a steady wall of water around the perimeter of the room. It wasn't enough force to spray too much and the drains at the center of the room kept it from flooding the floor. She had to show that she meant business.

"Now if you can stop being an insufferable cunt for a minute, I have a proposal. Three choices, really. One: you can cease all criminal activity. And don't be cheeky with me Vapor. I know what you've done and what you still do. You're not a very good criminal, so you should stop. Simple as that."

Caissa tapped her foot against the floor, making some of the water splash a bit. "Two: I can kill you right here and now. This one is the easiest for me, honestly. There won't even be a body to have to hide. How convenient is that?"

"Or third, and pay attention to this one now. You work for me. You do what I say, when I say. You commit no crimes unless I tell you to. You follow my plans to the letter. You don't brag about criminal activity or be a cheeky fuck about it. And most importantly, you learn. You learn to become a criminal that Manta Carlos deserves."
