Gyres shrugged a little. “People are idiots, what can I say?” Really, what could he say? He was actually trying to think of something better to say but the words just couldn’t ever reach him.

Gyres was certainly intrigued by Kon mentioned that they were pardon for some illegal activities before coming to the island, and from what they were saying they actually might enjoy going such activities again. “Villainy has its own thrills certainly but it is quite frustrating. More often than not the goodie two shoes bests you and your back at square one. That has its benefits though, as you learn what to improve next attempt.”

"Ah optimism if truly a blessing to have isn't it?" Gyres had still had his smile from before plastered over his face. It's as if his smile was something that just could not be removed. Gyres often aspired to have the same optimism Kon had, but even for him it was a struggle.

"Actually I am not familiar with these Nek0s. Are you one of them?" Gyres had suprisingly not heard of the the nek0s before. It was good learn up on what happened on the island and on it's inhabitants.

Gyres listened carefully to Kon explain what Nek0s actually were. Quite frankly he couldn’t have cared less about the sob story of being a freed slave but it was still good information. “Ah I think I understand now. Thank you for sharing that information, I’m sure it will be useful. Anyways if you desire business advice I still may be able to help, though I don’t know to what degree.” Offering help was a crucial step to building trust with others. Gyres was going to try his best to build trust with the people of Manta Carlos, so he could yank the rug out under them later.

Gyres didn’t say anything once what he actually meant by the information being useful, instead going on to Kon’s desire for advice. “Ahhh yes I get it. Running a big organization is a scary thing certainly. Respect is a primary factor in those that succeed and those who fail. Making your suboridantes respect you is good. If they don’t respect you why would they do as you ask? I’ll think about your volunteer offer although I will be honest I doubt I could help. I’m usually very busy and what not. Oh! One more thing. Keep in mind all business are run differently what works for one organization may not work for another one.”

Gyres was only half listening to what Kon was saying, more focused on how he would cook his meat when he got back to the nest. That was until Kon started saying very worrying things about Gyres being more interested in Kon rather than Kon’s buisness. Oh shit. Well it was time to try some of the Gyres charm, hopefully he still had it. “Well what can I say Kon? Your an interesting fellow, and I greatly enjoy interesting people. However if you wish to discuss things more privately that can be arranged.” Gyres gave a wide smile to Kon, it’s friendliness was somehow gone, now blatant mask.
