"Oh yes. 'Basic Transmutation Control."

Rosetta was again caught off guard. "Trans...mutation? You mean like changing into things, right?"

This guy could transmutate?

"I believe the definition of Transmutation is a transition of forms, not necessarily referring to any specific fetter. But yes, I believe your description is accurate" A small amount of misdirection, couldn't make it too easy now.

Rosetta let the information sink into her mind. "I see. Well, by that, I assume you can transmutate?" She again pushed a strand of hair out of her face. "I'll admit it. I would've never have guessed someone like you can transmutate. However, there are lots of different and interesting people here at Starlight Academy, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised."

"I suppose that would be a reasonable assumption." He chuckled a little bit at her words. "Someone like me? And what exactly would that be?" He paused for a moment, straightening out his shirt and gloves. "You never answered my question, What classes are you taking?" The game wasn't really going his way this time, but what could he do if she kept avoiding questions? How boring, he might be forced to cut this conversation short.

"Classes? Mostly the typical classes. Advanced English, Geometry, Advanced Chemistry, Advanced History, and the class I mostly came here for, Spellcasting." Rosetta chuckles slightly. "If you're so smart, I assume you can put the pieces together. I cast spells as my power."

Rosetta couldn't help to be a little of suspicious of Wesker...it may have just been her, but he seemed to be asking a lot of questions.

There we go, now they were getting somewhere. Slowly, Wesker was managing to draw out information from Rosetta. He would have to be careful though, he might still lose this game if he couldn't draw out a bit more. He'd already given her more then he had wished to.

"Spells. That's quite interesting..." He glanced over her outfit once. "Would you be a witch then? I suppose there are a few other descriptions that would also work." Catching the suspicious look in her eye for a moment, Wesker kind of leaned forward in his seat a little, unsettling grin still plastered to his face. "Is there something wrong?"

Rosetta shook her head. "N-no. Everything is fine. However, some may call one a witch, I see myself more of a...Mage." Rosetta chuckles slightly once more. "However, if one messed with me, I guess I could be as harsh as a witch."

This guy was up to something. What did he want from her?

"So what exactly would you call yourself?"

"I can't really say I know the differences that would separate a witch from a mage myself." The corner's of his mouth turned up slightly at that comment. "Oh I would call myself many things. I find that it's not usually what someone calls themselves that matters. Rather the perceptions of others, which often reflect a far clearer picture of your character"

Wesker's eyes drifted away from Rosetta, losing focus a little bit as if he were lost in thought. He was drifting back to that one night, and the many things he had been called then. It was too long before he shook his head and came back to reality, regaining his smile once more. "My apologies. I wanted to ask if you had any friends here already perhaps, or if you'd met anyone else. A boyfriend perhaps?"

His tone didn't indicate any particular interest in her availability. That wasn't what he was after, he had simply been following his train of thought and had ended up there. Something of an awkward question to ask really, he really shouldn't be so quick to speak after returning his thoughts to the present.

"My apologies. I wanted to ask if you had any friends here already perhaps, or if you'd met anyone else. A boyfriend perhaps?"

Rosetta blushed as red as a tomato at that question. Rosetta is a very intelligent lady and she is also pretty good at her powers, but she does have a weakness. And that is...

Love. Going out for a romantic dinner, a confession, love letters, you name it (excluding flirting).

"B-b-b-b-b-boyfriend? Um..." Rosetta bit her lip and turned her head to face the wall. "No...not at the moment at least. However," Rosetta tried to calm down, and most of the red in her face was gone, but you could still notice some. "I did meet a guys in the courtyard. Ugh, one was a pig! The other was...we didn't talk much. He said 'hi' I think." She turned back towards Wesker. "What about you? Do you have any friends or a," She blushed some more, "g-g-girlfriend?"

Wesker raised an eyebrow at this... odd reaction, then his smile widened slightly. Seems he had found something interesting, which meant he had won the game. At least, he would win so long as he didn't give Rosetta too much before the end. "A pig you say, is that a similie or literal? It could be either on this island, or both."

Romance was not a thing that flustered Wesker so much as it did Rosetta, even less so being that he had asked first, making it the obvious response to throw it back at him. He was perfectly comfortable with dates, letters, really everything up until the 'touching' stuff, and even then given the right relationship... "No, unfortunately I have only just arrived, and haven't had the fortune to have known someone prior to receiving my letter."
