Rosetta Souline walked quietly into the dorms to find where the room she was to be staying at was. She was quick to find it, which was on the top floor. She made her way inside the clean and dark room and sat her belongings down on to the floor. The room she was staying at didn't have anyone else in there at the moment, so she would alone for a short while until someone new came along.

She took out of her bag a laptop and opened it up to start looking more into her classes which were the next day. She came here to learn all about her powers and make them stronger in order to find the one who killed her parents. Not only does she want to get stronger but she wants to find a team. Yes, a team. A small team of people who would want to help her find out the secrets that lie here on Manta Carlos Island. If she can do that, then it could help her find the killer much more efficiently.

However, for now she needs to just get acquainted with people here at Starlight Academy. She may be able to use them to help her with issues on this island. First, she will try to get familiar with people who stay at the same dorms she does.

The ding of the elevator could be heard just down the hall as Wesker stepped out of the small, metal box. His footfalls landing lightly against the floor as his stride carried him down the hallway. His head turned idly as he walked, glancing over the number card for each room. "X14... X16... Ah here we are, X18."

With a flourish of his gloved hand, Wesker unlocked and opened the door to his new dorm room. A look of confusion spread over his face as he looked into the room, His luggage wasn't here yet? That was odd. It should have been on the way already.

While he still remained in the hallway, the highschooler pulled out his phone and began composing a text inquiring about the state of his belongings. The male clicked his tongue softly as he orchestrated his thoughts onto the phone, lightly tugging at the longer sleeves covering his arms. Summers were really such a hassle with these outfits, but there was no helping it.

Rosetta decided to finally get out of her room after being in there for a while on the computer. She just walked down the empty halls as she looked around to see where the bathrooms were on her floor (she'd need to know).

She came across a room that read from outside "X18." In front of the room, stood a young man (who looked to be her age). She decided that it would be good to try to get familiar with some of the other students here, so she greeted him with a polite "good afternoon."

Wesker looked up at the sound of a voice, the space of a blink all it took before he had his smile on his face to great the newcomer. He hit send on his phone and slid it back into his pocket as he approached the girl in his doorway. "Good afternoon, my apologies, have I disturbed you?"

This seemed like a reasonable assumption, people didn't often simply approach another because the door was open. No, this one had a reason, even if it turned out to be a simple one. His eyes scanned over the petite form in front of him, taking in her extravagant outfit. If nothing else, it was nice to see he wasn't the only one wearing clothing that might not be the most appropriate for the weather.

"I am Wesker Straundlin, it's a pleasure. Are you also a student here?" He offered Rosetta his hand, palm up in the formal fashion for greeting a lady.

Rosetta took his hand. "Yes, I am a student. My name is Rosetta Souline. Nice to meet you."

She didn't notice this at first, but now she saw that Wesker was... attractive, or at least to her. It was weird; no guy at home has ever caught her eye so why is he so different?

Rosetta decides to forget about it and shrugs it off. It's probably nothing.

Once he had her hand in his grasp, he lifted it gently and met it with his lips, a soft kiss of greeting. Then just as smoothly as he'd done that, he straightened back to his full height. "Oh, how rude of me, you may come in if you wish. I'm afraid I'm not any more settled then I expect yourself to be, however."

He turned his body, allowing her room to pass into the room if she wished while gesturing at the sparsely furnished area. His gaze sweeped over the area once again, not letting his smile falter even with his displeasure of his bags not having arrived yet. "I'm afraid I don't have anything to offer you as far as refreshments. There seems to have been a mix-up with the transport of my belongings."

His phone buzzed lightly in his pocket, and he slipped it halfway out to glance down at it before sliding it back in. It seemed his things were on their way, but it wouldn't be polite to deal with the matter while he had a guest. "To what do I owe the pleasure, miss Souline?" He asked again, "I do hope it's nothing unpleasant."

Rosetta blushed as Wesker's lips met her hand. No one has ever done anything of the sort to her, and if they tried (usually a more flirty way) they met some painful consequences.

"To what do I owe the pleasure, miss Souline? I do hope it's nothing unpleasant."

"Nothing unpleasant I assure you. I am new here to the academy and I wanted to meet some fellow classmates," Rosetta informed him.

Taking his offer, she made her way into his room. She was glad that she was able to meet someone new so quickly, but she was also a little nervous to be in, well, a boy's room. This was a new experience.

Wesker followed her into the room, leaving the door open and gesturing for her to sit on the bed if she wished. He pulled out the chair from the desk for himself. "Well, it would seem that you have accomplished that goal, I am certainly a student at the very least, if not a classmate." He glanced about his room once more.

It wasn't really 'his' room yet as far as he was concerned. He hadn't spent time here nor slept in that bed yet, so for him it was really just another room. It was a shame he didn't have any tea, that would make the interaction go a little smoother and more pleasant. Oh well, his curiosity would just have to play the game with out it.

"So what brings you to the prestigious Startlight Academy? My understanding is that very few arrive without a reason. I do hope that the traveling hasn't worn on you too much, some of the trips can be rather... extensive."

Rosetta sat on Wesker's bed as he sat in his chair. The room felt very empty, as if no one occupied it yet. The bed even felt like no one has used it in a while if that makes sense.

Wesker asked Rosetta a question that caught her off guard for a moment. "So what brings you to the prestigious Startlight Academy? My understanding is that very few arrive without a reason. I do hope that the traveling hasn't worn on you too much, some of the trips can be rather... extensive."

Rosetta chuckled a little bit, but not much in an amused way. "My reason for being here? We've only known each other for only five minutes and you want to know? I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I don't go around telling my lifestory to everyone." Rosetta pushed a strand of hair out of her face. "Besides, it's hard enough for even myself to accept it..."

Is this good? She's kind of cold by the way...:rollsaway:

Wesker's smile remained in place, his expression almost unnaturally unmoving. A slight shrug of his shoulders was all that met her detraction. "If you do not wish to speak of it, that is fine. You were the one who expressed interest in getting to know each other, I was merely making conversation."

How curious this one was. Wesker was having a hard time discerning what she desired from him. If she didn't want to talk, then why had she accepted the invitation to enter the room? Yes, this one was rather interesting, but how should he continue..? "...Do you know what classes you are taking? Or rather, were assigned, I suppose."

That would be a pretty safe territory, and if he played it right the game would grant him a few more points. "Let's see, I have math and science and such, some computer classes and... oh what was it?" He dug through the solitary bag he had on him to find his itinerary, feigning he didn't already know the name of the class. "Oh yes. 'Basic Transmutation Control.'"

You're perfectly fine, Wesker wasn't expecting it to go so smoothly anyway :3
