I have a new plot idea in mind featuring my cat girl, Gemma Castor. She's been a witch since before she was born, but that hasn't had a major impact on her at all--yet. I want to involve her in an in-depth magic rivalry plot, in which she becomes a witch's apprentice to face off against the witch's rival, a wizard/sorcerer with an apprentice of his own.
I aim to provide an engaging storyline and roleplay not only for myself and the characters I want made, but for people outside of the plot too. The exact details of the plot will be shared with the members who answer this want ad or are otherwise directly involved.
Before I go through with making the changes to Gemma's backstory that are necessary to facilitate the plot's integration, I want to see who's willing to play two of the major characters--the witch and the wizard! I'll keep this short and just give you guys an idea of the characters and what they'll be doing.
NOTE: These are to be new characters with their own backstories and personalities! I'll be speaking with interested players to help develop their applications.
IMPORTANT - You must be willing to communicate and open to critique!

I'm looking for someone who's able to play an "evil" witch character who's very cunning and witty.

I'm looking for someone who's able to play an old and wise wizard character with high morals.

The witch and the wizard have known each other since the beginning of their journeys centuries ago. They have a deep history, various events and conflicting morals/goals (to be determined by those involved) that make up their rivalry today.

NOTE: Players interested should be involved with the plot! It's the largest part of the witch/wizards' lives. I would also prefer active players for this plot who are going to stick around the site. Also, the witch and the sorcerer are not intended for long-term ships outside of this plot!
If you're not interested in playing the witch or wizard but have or want a character that could be involved somehow (another magic user, alchemy ingredient supplier, or someone who needs a regular supply of potions to get by [dreamless sleep, temporary sin/hunger satiation, etc]), feel free to contact me as well! Witch
I'm looking for someone who's able to play an "evil" witch character who's very cunning and witty.
The Witch is a crafty and cunning woman who could be considered evil; if she's not evil, then she's downright scheming to get what she wants with little regard to the morals of her methods (as long as they don't get her arrested). Almost nothing is done for free. Even her acts of kindness are likely done in return for something; for example, she used her magic to save Gemma in the womb and stop her from being born dead, but did so with the intent of taking Gemma as her apprentice later in life in order to defeat her life-long rival, the wizard.
The witch will have to give Gemma various tasks for things they want done (Ex: gathering powdered bull's horn for a potion of strength they need to give to a fighter to win a battling bet), as well as take the time to teach her important witchy lessons and various magics.
Focuses on typical witchy magic--crude potions, hexes, curses, magic that plays with life and death.

Wizard
I'm looking for someone who's able to play an old and wise wizard character with high morals.
The Wizard/Sorcerer is one of your typical refined, wise, nose-in-the-air users of the arcane. He too is a crafty old man, but he prefers to take the high road to get things done, compared to the witch's more lowly ways. He was likely part of some sort of sorcerer's guild back in the day, but he no longer needs their aid and now works on his own.
Like the witch, he'll have to give his apprentice various tasks, but these ones will be more reasonable and offer the boy lessons to be learned (Ex: going on a fetch-quest only to wind up in an accusatory situation that requires diplomacy to de-escalate). Despite his moral high roads, he expects a lot out of his apprentice and won't be too gentle on him unless the situation calls for it.
Focuses on more arcane magic--meticulous potions, spellbooks with fireballs, enchantments, portals, detection and inconspicuous magics.
