The sun in the sky seemed to shine at its best on this Monday afternoon. The day was still in its youth and not to mention the weather was perfect. A light breeze that tickled your face as it rolled by keeping you from being over heated by the sun and its beautiful radiance. The trees of the woods keep a light shadow over head as well as if the wind and trees kept a pact to lighten the suns awesome glow. The grass was low, not even ankles length. Almost looked to be freshly cut, it sure smelled like it. The fumes of the wilderness was like the perfect stimuli for the human nose, or any nose for that matter. It was like smelling home made cookies fresh out the oven or the sweet smell of freshly cut wood. One could only experience this type of day when they have no troubles in the world and that is exactly how Atom felt almost all the time since he married the girl of his dreams.
Atom wore a short sleeved Red T-shirt that was long enough to almost cover his bottom. His pants were a perfect fit for him keeping his pants from falling without using a tight belt. They stretched down to passed his ankles however but still kept a good view of his shoes. The running shoes that he always wore even though he doesn't run very much. He wore a necklace that was silver and shined even int he darkest of areas. Hanging from it was the two letters 'A' and 'L'. He had originally bought it because it was his wife's initials but later realized it was both of their initials which made it all the more better for him. He knew it was corny but he did what he could to keep her feeling his attraction and love to her all the time.
He held his wife, Axel Lawlett, close with his arm around her waste. He was tall but not much taller than she was which he loved so he wouldn't have to kill his back just to bend over and kiss her. A smile was always spread across his face whenever he was around her. She was the light in his night sky to put it poetically. Along with their pet wolf and best friend, Shadow, of course. Shadow ran around playfully without leaving the sight of his owners. He pranced, he sprinted, he pounced, he did everything that he could to have fun. This was kind of his natural habitat, being born here and all. Though it seemed that Shadow was too young to remember anything sad about this place since he was only a pup but nonetheless, it seemed that he was enjoying this beautiful day just as much as Atom was. He could only wonder if Axel was as happy as they were at the moment.
