Appearance Description

Six feet, nine inches tall. Who even allowed him to be that tall? He's tall enough to have many, many rat friends hidden in his clothes at any given point in time.

Milo is big and looming, with a slight, but subtle extra curve to his hips and waist. Milo had his chest magically altered with the help of his friend Nilesy when they were teenagers, though nothing more- since further than that would both be a bigger risk, and Milo didn't ever feel uncomfortable with anything else. Currently, he's satisfied with himself and his body. Milo is very fit, attractively muscular (though not to the point of being bulky), and has nice, long legs. He's definitely pretty, on the masculine side of androgynous, and with natural Fae looks and grace.

Milo has narrow, yellow eyes with constant dark circles under them, which tend to make him look grouchy or suspicious of things- without him actually always feeling that way. He has a resting jerk face just in general, and tends to be bitter over how it makes him seem more unapproachable and unsociable than he is. Seeing him smile is something to be savored, because it means he's very happy. Otherwise, even in casual happiness, his face doesn't change much.

Milo has vibrantly strawberry blond hair, thick, usually pushed back, and with the habit of flipping upward at any chance it gets. His bedheads are terrifying. His nose is on the longer side, and pointed- his whole face has a pointier shape to it, including his eyebrows and cheekbones. His ears stick out a little. He has naturally brown skin, and is hispanic.

Milo is very careful with his appearance, never ignoring it even if he's in a bad mood. His clothes are always very clean and crisp, as well as in surprisingly cute styles for a man of his height and disposition. He has a fondness for collecting scarves to wear, usually patterned, often floral. He likes pinks in his wardrobe, and lighter pastel colors. Pastel ratlord, aesthetic murderer.

He'll often have both live and spirit rats on his shoulders, on his head, in his shirt, or skittering about near him. You can pet them if you ask nicely. He'll sure be petting and cooing at them often.

Milo has an extremely pleasant scent, very sweet, sometimes flowery, that comes from his being Fae. He has a deeper voice, very slightly raspy around the edges, and an american accent.

Personality Description

Milo, outwardly, appears very grim and icy. And he kinda is, but the young changeling has a lot going on. He can be a very bitter person, though also has a lot of heart, if you can claw your way into it. He has the bad habit of automatically looking at a lot of things in a negative light, but it's experience based and logical to him. As of late, despite all of this, he's shaping up to be a real sweetheart, and a very good leader in the right setting- assertive and strong, but always for the sake of the people he's representing rather than particularly selfish purposes, and very hard working.

He has an intense soft spot for his rats, who he thinks of as his family. That soft spot extends its way into other animals, although not to the extent as it does with rats. Due to his love of animals, Milo is a vegetarian. If you bad talk rats, or even worse, just say something like 'ew' to his face when first seeing him and his fuzzy familiars, he'll probably fight you- and the rats will too. They all fight dirty, lots of biting and tiny claws.

Milo also has a soft spot for children and damaged people. He won't force you to fake being okay for his sake. Never. He'll go out of his way to help 'more delicate' people feel more safe. Not talk about certain subjects, lower his voice, get them things, not speak at all but just be there- anything they need. Often, Milo will also go out of his way to keep an eye on people like this, and sometimes even send them secret care packages or help them out of trouble from behind the scenes.

Milo is very settled and solid as a person. He refuses to let anyone or anything put him down again. He might be very paranoid with outside things, but he's completely confident with himself and who he is. He's hard to shake.

Milo- being transgender, a person of color, an abuse survivor, and living with mental illness- is definitely very stubborn on proper social rights, and unhappy with the current status of many things. He's not one for digestible, polite asking for change, he's angry, and stubborn as hell. He won't apologize for that, and has zero tolerance for a lot of shitty behavior.

Anger, in general, is something Milo prefers to other negative emotions and feels a great deal. He gets into fights often due to this, among other things. He has intrusive violent thoughts that he's trying to cope with on an everyday basis. This was a source of self-hatred when he was a child, but he's since grown to accept it as an unchanging reality. He's also since then accepted violent urges as a possible advantage. Already has been just that, multiple times. Milo is a serial killer that murders other killers, and similarly extreme criminals. He has a strong sense of personal righteousness and justice.

In everyday situations, Milo generally will come across as relaxed, distant, or snarky. He can also be extremely warm, kind, and comfortable to be around. Milo used to always be a loner, and really doesn't expect to be liked (or care about it), but more recently he's... accidentally popular. The gruff, huge rat man that you know really cares, and would probably get in fights for you. Aw.

Species traits/Powers

Fae changeling
Milo is a Fae changeling of unknown specific traits, possibly of very mixed blood. He can be physically harmed and killed, even if he is more resilient than humans- but he can't die from old age, as he is Fae. He additionally has general enhanced strength and senses, particularly sense of smell. Milo overall, but particularly his blood, smells and tastes sweet, just slightly intoxicating.

The Rat King
Milo a recent incarnation of a more specific, relevant, standalone Fae folklore known as The Rat King, which is decently self explanatory, original, and loosely based around/inspired by this phenomenon (warning, a little gross).

Rat affinity

Milo talks to rats, ordinary mortal rats and strange spirits alike. His affinity for this is extremely strong, and it would be a rarity for any rat to be his enemy. Others in the rodent family are endeared to him more than they usually would be, although nothing comes close to his relation with rats. If speaking with them out loud, rather than mentally, it comes out either as clicks and chirps but mostly sounding like nothing at all, unless one can hear the ultrasound frequency rats speak in.

He has the scent and species vibes of a rat, along with fae and sweetness. The biggest and boldest of them. The Rat King.

Bloodlust/Berserker

Sometimes, uncontrolled passion and intensity can be a good thing. It seems as though there's something in Milo- if from his bad treatment in childhood, or another curse he was born with, it doesn't really matter. There's a squirming in his stomach, gross and unpleasant, needing to be listened to. A need to make things hurt, to have the evidence staining your hands, to get up close and personal and punish. Milo likes to make people squirm, gets a sick satisfaction from it. Make them squirm like he squirms. Once it starts, it's hard to stop. He'll do bad, bad things.

He tries to make sure they're done to bad people.

Biography

Milo was born Molly Constantin, assigned female at birth to a woman who would love him less and less the longer they spent together. Perhaps, in the back of her mind, she knew that he wasn't truly her own child.

But it was no excuse for what she did, nowhere near one.

Milo never knew what became of the man that was supposed to play his father, growing up only with his mother, in a tiny house with an even smaller amount of money to go around. She was abusive, emotionally and mentally, and since Milo never had bruises on his skin, nobody ever cared what was happening. Sometimes, Milo thought he deserved it. They both knew he wasn't normal, and he couldn't deny that, not with the rats.

They found him in whatever ways they could. They were under the floors, in the walls, whispering to him. They told him he didn't deserve it, and Milo started to agree.

They helped him. When there wasn't enough food, they'd steal it. After he had a breakdown, a fit of tears that felt like they'd last forever, they'd crawl into his blankets and comfort him. Soft and warm. With time, he could steal for himself, creep about without being noticed by his mother, and he could numb things for himself. Block it all out. Expect the worse before it came and battered him by surprise.

All before he was a teenager.

His teenage years were brighter, if only by a little. Somehow, someone had badgered their way into being friends with him. And by this point, he was presenting the way he wanted to, transitioned properly into being publicly male. The height he was gaining at an almost unstoppable rate assisted greatly with him not being instantly assumed a girl. Although he only had one friend, that was far more than he'd ever had, excluding the rats. Eventually, when his friend, one Nilesy Felis, learned about his less than normal abilities, the other boy was overjoyed. Not to mention went out of his way to become special with Milo. This made Milo feel solid in a way he'd never managed to before, and both now had a friend for life.

Friends for life help each other bury bodies, which is exactly what Nilesy helped Milo do. Milo murdered his mother on his eighteenth birthday, right after she'd decided it was time to kick him out, and tell him in detail just how much she'd wanted to get rid of him for all these years. She couldn't, though. Mothers aren't supposed to do that, she said. She'd had a duty, one that was now finally at an end. Milo found himself agreeing with the sentiment, mind swirling with pent up savagery and need to see blood on his hands. He gave in, and will remember what occurred vividly, for the rest of his life. He wished it had lasted longer.

After that, he left with Nilesy and many rats in tow. They tried to find others like them, or simply more to learn. This purpose was fulfilled, and they discovered the existence of a particularly loved school, and while they waited a bit to do so- wanting to continue experiencing being free adults away from any, even magical, school- together, they finally arrived and settled down to get back to studying and figuring things out. The rest is in the making.

Additional Information

Milo is an abuse survivor. He can react harshly to being yelled at, and jump to highly negative assumptions, all out of his control. It was beaten into him, permanently, and is a big part of him not to be skimmed over or fixed. He also distrusts authority figures on a whole. He's bitter, oh so bitter, and automatically dislikes anyone who gets on his case about it. If you tell him to just 'be more happy!', he'll fight you. He can be very protective of other's rights to not be fake-cheery, as well as his own.

Milo is known for regularly going out of his way to beat up bullies at SA, and a lot of people who fit into that category will run the opposite direction when seeing him, along with hating his guts and shit talking him. He enjoys this as a hobby, doing it for fun rather than just to protect others, and he's not the merciful type. He'll absolutely break a few things if you insist on acting like a shitlord.

Milo is the man behind the serial killer identity The Executioner (nickname being both a description of what he does and why, as well as decently meaningful in a place without a death penalty), a murderer that brutally kills extreme criminals that show no sign of stopping and often haven't been properly/permanently caught by the police. Slippery, smug types are his absolute favorite to go after. The first thing he does is often research and stalking, and once there's enough confidence in the information gathered, it just goes straight into murder, as Milo doesn't care too much for fear tactics and warnings. He gets things done.

Milo enjoys what he does. Too much. He tortures his victims for hours before ending their lives, usually combining his own violent urges and subjecting them to the ways they've hurt others. The corpses he leaves behind are often horribly mutilated, and would be unrecognizable if not for the symbolism- as he does want others to know who they are and why they died. He puts care into setting up a scene which somehow points to the victim's guilty actions in life, both mocking and artistic.
