"That's my kitten," Vladimir teased as he carefully guided Kon around the dancefloor, perhaps a tiny bit slowlier than other couples since he realised, after a few missteps, that Konpeito seemed somewhat unfamiliar with the moves.
"Just try not to fixate on all that's happening, and enjoy the evening," Vladimir said in a soothing tone as he gave Kon's waist a reassuring squeeze.
"Besides, I do have complete faith that everything will sort itself out eventually. It always does," he said as he dipped Kon a little.

"I am going to check on Sam, first," Bel said, her tone growing ever more and more anxious, as she looked at Erione now really worried, especially when she saw the tears forming in his eyes.

Natasha was a good and engaged listener and gave Will her full and undivided attention as they glided and stepped across the ballroom floor. She could sympathize very easily with Will. Being turned and then left for undead was not pleasant.
"It wasn't too difficult," she began. "I love fashion, and often collect clothes from different eras."
"Although, I must confess that I lived and experienced your time," she told him with a smile that was both coy and playful. "I am also undead, a vampire actually," here she smiled just enough to show off her pointed incisors.
"Originally, and when I was "alive", I formed part of Catherine the Great's private entourage," she explained as she continued to let Will guide her in the dance.
