Yuki smiled as the man began to flourish under his tutelage. Until his foot was stepped on. Then he winced a little before laughing at his stumbling student. "You're alright, don't worry," he reassured his partner.

"Spins are fun though! " he laughed back. This guy really had something about him that made him a natural charmer, and Yuki wondered why he wasn't more willing to use his charm. It was the kind of charisma that naturally drew people towards you without him even needing to actively build the intrigue. The boy was glad to meet someone who was so refreshingly honest.

"But alright. If you don't want to, I won't force you to clockwise box step back flip somersault with me." He said, putting a decent amount of clear sarcasm into hs voice.

At a certain point PurpleGrin kind of just... stopped dancing and slowly sunk to his knees, letting go of Bel completely.

"I...," he sniffed, and his voice was decidedly devoid of his usual cheer. "I don't feel very good. Thanks for the dance but... I'm gonna go back to my shrine." He kept the mask on to try to hide the panic he was feeling. Something was seriously, seriously wrong.

MixedBag grew tired of turning chairs over- plus the staff was starting to take notice so it was time for another quick change. They ducked out of sight once more and came back as a stunning woman with long straight blonde hair and a silvery ball gown that probably gave people a bit of deja vu from having seen it on some other woman earlier. They stepped over to a nice unoccupied corner and began to dance by themself.

"Erione?!" Bel exclaimed suddenly, genuinely concerned when her friend dropped to his knees on the dancefloor in front of her.

"Are you okay?" she asked as she bent down to help him up and suddenly had an awful sense of foreboding wash over her that made her skin prickle and her stomach do flipflops.

"Come..." she coaxed him, a sense of urgency in her voice as she offered him a hand up. "I don't know what's happening right now, but whatever it is, it's not good..." she told him as a look of fear flittered across her features.

The kiss shut Konpeitō up. Even before Vladimir spoke, he knew what he was insinuating: don't worry, enjoy yourself. So he did. Or tried to. Kon was definitely enjoying the party so far, and anything felt more comforting around someone he loved, but he couldn't help but feel out of place still. He still had not been on the island for a year, and while he felt mostly acclimated now, he still had his moments of uncertainties.

As the two danced, Vladimir might notice that Kon was clumsy on his feet. It had been a long time since Kon actually had feet, so dancing with them was an awkward task until he could jog his muscle memory.

Konpeitō followed where Vladimir was pointing. His shoulders relaxed. "That's good, aha..." he turned his face back to Vladimir. Though his face was hidden, the tone of his voice betrayed his embarrassment. He paused for a moment, then continued his words with confidence. "I'll stay positive! I have the best looking outfit here, and we're the best looking couple. With so much crazy happening, I refuse to let my worries dampen both of our moods."

"Yeah...Um, Sorry if that's inconvenient. I know a lot of people would want to dance all night..."

She trailed off as he started stuffing his face. A small, wry smile spread on her face.

"You know, you actually looked pretty dignified when you walked in here. You didn't need to ruin it by eating like that."

She giggled a little bit.

"Maybe for you!" he laughed. That would require way more coordination than he had. Stepping was nowhere near the same level as spins and it would only end up in disaster. He decided that it would be best that the food and drinks would be best to remain on tables and people's feet to stay intact.

"Pfft backflips are easy," he scoffed, stepping to the beat now without the need of his partner's whispers. "Whatever this is," he said whilst gesturing to the two of them; "this is a whole nother level." Being quite agile, he was capable of jumps and flips. Sadly, that did not help him with this sort of dance.

As the song swelled, Yuki lamented a little inside at his inabilty to really show off. He felt like this might be his last dance of the night, although he supposed it wasn't such a bad thing to end things calmly. After all, if he got too drunk on the atmosphere, he'd probably end up embarrassing himself. Then again... maybe that was fine. He was wearing a mask after all. He hadn't even seen any paparazzi on his way here. Maybe it would be fine to embarrass himself? Screw it. He'd give the spin a go anyway. Feeling the music build higher, Yuki braced himself.

"If you're being serious, I'll believe it when I see it." He smirked, clearly not buying it but also secretly looking forward to it. If the man wasn't lying, that'd actually be quite impressive... "Meet me outside later, then prove it."

The music cut out and restarted slowly, the anticipation within Yuki quickly building. It was now or never! "Alright. The finale is coming." The teen warned. "The tempo will really speed up, then it's three last beats. Lift my hand on that last beat, and I'll spin. You'll have to trust me on this one."

The music sped up as promised for a finale, violins and flutes resounding with joy as the rest of the instruments joined in. As expected, the last beat came, and...!

A challenge. He liked it; though, he was glad it was not in front of all of these people. It would look weird if he just did a flip out of the blue to a slower song in a crowd of waltzing people. "Sure, you're on!"

It sounded simple enough but he felt that there was a way that he'd probably mess it up. In either case, he nodded his head, praying that it would go alright. If this went wrong, not only would he look like a fool but he would make his partner look like one too. That was the last thing he wanted.

The pace of the song increased, just as the boy had said. By now, he was no longer focused on dancing, only raising the boys are on three. Stood still now, he counted one. Two. Raising his arm on three, he just hoped he did it at the right moment...

Erione let out a small sob and let Bel help him to his feet. Fortunately he wasnt terribly hard to help up. He'd just been struck with a terrible, depressing feeling and felt like throwing up.

Erione removed the grinning mask, discarding the illusion of hiding his identity and replacing it with the very real tears streaming down his face. "I dont know if I'm ok. I guess I'm not shattered so it's not the worst it could be but I just... I'm done dancing. I need to go to one of my shrines."

Erione could tell something was affecting Bel too. Suddenly the night of fun just lost all of its luster. "I'm gonna go to my shrine at the gallery. You're welcome to come with, but I understand you might want to check on Samhain."

Will lead his partner to the dancefloor and proceeded to lead her in a slow waltz, "I can assure you the story behind my mode of dress isn't anywhere nearly as interesting as you might have imagined."

"I technically died in the summer of 1888," He began, "But was brought back as some sort of undead and then buried under some rubble until just a few months ago when I was dug up by an oil company."

"I have not yet had time to become reacquainted with current fashion trends," He added somewhat sheepishly, "But now I must admit I am rather curious about you. How were you able to pinpoint what era my fashion sense came from so flawlessly?"
