Maddie was glad her voice came out strong and easy because she still wasn't feeling completely confident. So this had been a real date? She was on her first real date and she was sitting there thinking it hadn't been a real date at all. Oh boy.

:leftright: On an island of magic like this, I doubt it would be a big deal. Besides, Maddie's only three months or so away from being the age of consent. Also, it would really only be against the law if they did anything sexual. Kissing doesn't count to the law as sexual.

"Confusing, but yes!" He laughed as the ride began spinning. It started slow, but soon was flailing them around in circles, rising high above the ground. Laetus flapped his arms like she had. He soon came to a realization... This was fun! Well alright, two things. This is fun, AND he's done this before. The irony was becoming ore ironeyey as this went on. He remembered he flapped his arms when he flew with her the other day.

Maddie didn't care about the odd looks the two of them were getting. This was too fun to stop.

She held her arms straight out as she pretended to be a superhero. She looked Laetus' way and nodded professional, trying to make her face look all serious and superhero-like.

He smiled back, almost bursting out laughing at the serious look she game him.
Part of him wanted to jump out of the seat at the height of their momentum. He opted against it, however. Not because he was afraid of the idea, but simply because they weren't in the same seat, so he couldn't drag her with him.
As it started to slow down, Laetus was disappointed that it didn't get faster. He wanted it to just keep going.
